Two months later
‘Nick, stop it!’ I yelled through tears.
‘Hahahaha,’ he was laughing at me. We were standing next to the entrance to the cinema, which had a roof, and waiting for rain to stop pouring.
‘Oh you little…’ I shouted and finally managed to get out of his arms. ‘How dare you to tickle me so much?’ I pouted dramatically.
‘I made my lil’ princess cry?’ Nick asked and stood up like a knight.
I laughed.
‘Well, now she is laughing. Will I be forgiven then, milady?’ he asked.
‘Sure… If you gimme a kiss,’ I stuck out my tongue to him.
‘I will give you two if you stick your tongue out like that again,’ Nick smiled askew.
‘You are BERY PERVERSE MAN!’ I laughed. Nick’s smile disappeared for a moment.
‘Bery?’ he asked calmly, but his smile became a tiny bit fake.
‘Yeah, why? Ker told me to speak like a Spanish,’ I said and pretended to be proud. Nick kept staring at me. ‘Why? Is it so bad? Come on, it was a joke,’ I said a bit irritated. ‘You’re like medieval…’ I rolled my eyes. My words seemed to get back the warmness in his eyes.
‘And you’re like a wet chicken,’ Nick laughed and pushed me into the rain.
‘HOW DARE YOU MY BLOUSE YOU ARE DEAD,’ I yelled and with fear looked down at my chest. The wet blouse was sticking tightly to my body.
‘I like you even more this way,’ Nick teased me, but took off his jeans jacket.
‘You are dead… But first gimme that,’ I said angrily and grabbed the jacket out of his hands. I put it on fast. The jacket was a bit too big, but I felt cozy. It had a very nice smell and I smiled. It reminded me of something very nice, very unreal… It reminded me of a dream.
‘You are smiling like you found a million on the ground,’ Nick teased me again and looked around.
‘Oh, it’s just this smell… Your perfume is great. Who knew you have such a good taste,’ I teased him too.
‘It’s not mine. I borrowed the jacket from my brother, so my taste is a disaster, darling,’ Nick laughed. ‘Shall we go now? Or you started to like standing in the rain?’ he smiled and caressed my cheek. The streets were almost empty, it was getting dark.
‘I feel like in a dream,’ I whispered and kissed Nick.
