The ugly duck... Another fanfic by Julia ;) (Kleckutis_LT)

Prologue…
I probably should start from the very beginning… In my childhood I was not as other girls… I was chubby cheeks… Small, and well lets take it straight not pretty…all the girls made fun at me… I had only one friend… My mom… But although my childhood seems boring and well not fun… I was happy… Happy in my own little world…While other kids enjoyed playing with toys… I was much ore happy walking by the water… I was much more happy painting… But I was very closed as well… The only person I could talk to was my mother… But...I was happy and that was important…
But, when it came to high school my happiness ended… The other girls didn’t like me… Because I was different… When all of them started liking boys, they didn’t matter to me… It’s not that I didn’t like them.. I just didn’t show it…I just thought I was ugly and they wont like me… Trough all the ears I honestly thought I was ugly.. And I accepted that thought… But It all changed… It changed when I graduated school…I started to receive boys attention…And everyone said I was pretty face But the thought I was ugly was so stick in to my head that I ignored them all… Well almost all of them… And this is where my story starts:

Part 1
Where are those stupid cookies when you need them…? –I asked myself while pushing the goods wagon trough the supermarket…Finally I found everything I need… And I was moving towards the cash-register… Oh man the lines are horrible- I thought to my self… I was standing in the line and waiting for my turn… And when It was finally my turn ( I waited for like an eternity) some man jumped in line…
- Hey you… I was standing here you know so move your ass back to the line…
The man didn’t turn around he just said: -Sorry I’m in a hurry, I have a concert soon…
- I don’t care if you have a concert or if your house is on fire.. I waited here first…
He turned around and wanted to say something, but he saw me and he smiled…
- Why are you smiling? I said a bit angrily but I felt as my face filed with a smile…(don’t get me wrong I was mad but the guy was totally gorgeous).
- You are buying cookies and you cant wait a minute longer? –his face became serious.
- Well I… (I got confused)…
- Such a pretty girl and so mad, not good (he said and winked).
I thought he was making fun of me, calling me pretty…
- I bet you say that to all of the girls you jump in front of in a line…
- naah, you’re the first one… (He smiled )
- Wonder what concert are going to…? The young and the rude.. ?
- What is your problem? I said I’m sorry didn’t I? You know people usually say thank you when you say a compliment to them.. not yell at you…
-Well people don’t usually make fun of other people calling them “pretty” I said madly…
-Wha…(Then it was his turn to the cash-register), he paid for his stuff and left the store…
Hugh… pretty. .eyah right… I muttered… I paid for my cookies and went out of the shop… But to my distress it was raining like hell… And what luck! I didn’t have an umbrella or anything…-just my luck,- I said to my self… I walked a few steps toward and felt as my hair and my cloths became wet immediately… I wanted to walk but a car stopped near me…In this part you should rekognize about wich boy am I writing
… A window opened and it was the same guy in the line…
- Need a ride…? Or maybe you like walks in the rain…
- Cha cha, very funny(I said a bit angrily) Thanks but, no thanks…
- Oh came on… It’s raining like crazy… Your cookies will melt.. (He said and looked at the cookies, than smiled).
Believe me I usually don’t sit in the cars of strangers but somehow I wasn’t afraid of him… So I sat in.. –naaah what he heck-I said… And I sat in the car… There were a few minutes of silence…Just now I had a good look at the guy… he was looking at the road… but I could see his brown eyes… they were amazing and so deep…his blond hair was brushed in to a “hedgehog “ and It fitted him so well… His body was fit, but I was still admiring his eyes… he felt that I was looking at he looked at me.. For one second our eyes caught each other… I blushed and turned away… He interrupted the silence…
- So why did you got mad when I said that you are pretty?
- Well, I thought you were making fun of me…
- But why…?
- Ech-I sighed- a bad childhood, I don’t want to talk about it..
- Sorry, but you really are pretty…
- Stop it, your making me blush...
- C’mon I mean you’re a gorgeous girl, you should be used to people saying compliments to you…
- First of all… I’m not gorgeous so stop saying that… and second.. you’re the first person ever to say that…
- Really? No your lying… ?
- No, I’m not.. (I said In a sad voice)
- Sorry that I upset you…(He said and smiled)
- That’s nothing, it’s my fault, oh and sorry for yelling at you in the shop…
- It’s ok… I kind of deserve that…( we both laughed)… -well her’s my house..
- Wait what?( I got a bit scared)
- Oh shit I forgot I had to take you to your house… damn…so, now that your hear, some on in for a cup of coffie? That’s the least I can do for you.. (He said and smiled)
- Whaaait, it was your plan all along was it?
- Ok, I wont lye, it was.. (he laughed) just I thought If I will ask you, you will say no… Let’s just pretend like you don’t know anything… (he winked)
- Now what? (I said and we both laughed)
We went to his house…I don’t know why but I felt safe near him. When we were in his house he was acting like a gentlemen, he took my coat and… Oh shit I completely forgot I was with my pajamas on top, the one that looked like a normal blouse just with to BIG teddy bears.. I blushed…
-Hm…nice…m. .bears.. (he said and laughed)..
- Not funny ,I said and grabbed a pillow that was lying near my legs, and threw it to him(We both laughed for like forever)…
Some time later we were sitting by the table, drinking tea and chating… About banal stuff.. the weather, the politics and stuff…
- Can I ask you something? (the guy said)
- Well ok.. (I felt something will happen just I didn’t know what

- Can I kiss you?(he said and leaned near me)
- What? No….
- Oh sorry, was it too sudden? (he leaned back)
- No, it’s just I..
- You what?(he asked with a surprise in his face)
- I have never kissed before… (I said and I lowered my blushed face down).
- What? You cant be serious( It was a huge surprise for him) why?
- Well, I’m not the kissable type… (I felt sad, remembering my childhood)
- Girl, came here…( he took my hand and we both went to the mirror that was hanging on the wall) now look… Your gorgeous…
- You really think so? (I said)
- Yes, I do…Now how about that kiss?
- But what if I will be bad in kissing?
- No you wont… Close your eyes, (his gently fingers touched my lips…my heart started pounding…And than we kissed. .It was the first kiss in my life, I can describe it…It was magical. When I opened my eyes, the guy was standing still with his eyes closed, I didn’t know what to say, when He finally opened his eyes he said in a voice full of felicity:
- Are you sure you have never kissed before? I mean that was wow…
- I..I have to go….excuse me… (I said and walked towards the door… )
- Wait… Don’t go… (he said and grabbed my hand, he grabbed it very gently, and I could have easily freed my self ,but somehow I didn’t want to…)
- I’v made a mistake sorry, I have to go…(I wanted to run away but something held me)
- Did I do something wrong? (he looked concern)
- No it’s not you… It’s me… I just don’t handle guys very well…
- Tell me you didn’t like the kiss and I will tell you go..
- I liked it but… I’m afraid…
- Afraid of what?
- Afraid of falling in love…
He was sighed… He let my hand go…I didn’t know what t say so I just ran from his house…
- Will you at least say your name? -I heard him shouting among me..I stopped ,looked back and said:
- It’s Julia…I said and in a silent voice… - And your’s?
- Antonio… My name is Antonio…
- It was nice to meet you Antonio…!-I said, louder this time.. And ran to the buss)

Ony was still standing by his door… Julia-He muttered to him self. .than he touched his lips and smiled… - this is not over he muttered again and went back to his house…just when he walked trough the door he saw a purse lying by the coffie table… His smile became wider by the second…
A week later
-hello, can I help you..? –I said to a customer..
-yes, I need a t-shirt size 5… The customer answered…
-Right this way… -I said and showed him the shirts…
And this way all day… Working at a clothes shop really stinks sometimes… I mean just loom at these people… It’s nothing but a vanity fair… All these girls buying smaller sizes just to look finer.. and paying thousands and thousands of euros just to shop up to their friends, who to be honest doesn’t even notice… But my thoughts was disturbed by a woman who came to me… I saw that she was not a customer.. She looked so elegant… like a real lady from movies… She came to me and to my surprise she started talking to me…
- Excuse me, could I have a moment of your time?
- Sure, do you need anything?
- No, no dear I came to ask about you… I saw you while walking by and I can’t help noticing that you are very pretty and thin… and tall, and.. Well I’l go strait to the point… I want you to work for me, in my modeling factory…

I was in shock… I mean I was in a real shock… I didn’t know what to do… I looked at the card for forever… But I was happy In a way… I thought It was the happiest and most weird day ever… But it was just the beginning… I was ready to close the door when some man burst trough the door… He was with a hubcap so I didn’t see the face… He was standing his back turned to me… But when He took the hubcap off I saw… blond hair brushed in to a “hedgehog” I could recognized that hair anywhere… It was Antonio… I turned around and pretended that I was measuring the close that were on the shelf… When I heard his voice I felt as my knees went week, but I tried to stay calm and cold…
- Julia…? Is that you…? (he said)
