Part 15
My flu happened to be more serious than I thought. Nick called me after two days and I could barely talk to him. Kerolain was making some hot tea for me.
‘No, Nick,’ I said. ‘Don’t come back just cause I… am… ill…’ I was trying to talk normally.
‘Here is your tea,’ Ker whispered and gave me the cup. I sipped some tea and my cough started to calm down.
‘Better tell me, how are you?’ I asked Nick and sipped some more of the hot drink.
‘Oh, we’re having tons of fun!’ Nick laughed. I thought they’re having way too much fun there and pouted. ‘You know, we are all good friends, so we’re just hanging out and all,’ Nick added.
‘That’s great… Just try to come back sober to me,’ I tried to laugh, but just coughed some more.
‘Your cough really sounds serious,’ Nick said worried.
‘It will pass,’ I said.
‘Shit, Ony, you spilled your drink on me!’ Nick laughed. I smiled.
‘Looks like you ARE having fun there,’ I said.
‘Yeah,’ Nick started laughing.
‘I am bery sorry!’ I heard Ony yelling to Nick.
‘Whatever, friend. Hey, can somebody go and check how is Mikel?’ Nick yelled to somebody. ‘Sorry, hon, I am all yours now again,’ he said to the phone.
‘Go check how is Mikel?’ I asked a curious and, I must admit, a bit worried.
‘Yeah, he is feeling ill too. Coughing like hell as well,’ Nick said. ‘I guess you both managed to catch the same flu when he took you home,’ Nick laughed and I gulped. “Yeah, we managed, I guess…” I thought.
‘I hope he will feel better soon then,’ I said.
‘He will. I think he is saying he is ill just because he doesn’t want to party with us that much. You know, my brother ain’t that kind of person,’ Nick said.
‘Really? I had a different expression. I thought you are the calm one,’ I coughed again.
‘No, not really. To be frank, he wants to go home already… Well, sorry, I must go now. Guys are calling,’ Nick said.
‘Ok, bye then, see you when you’re back,’ I said and he also said goodbye.
I put the phone down and finished my tea.
‘Thanks, Ker, you’re the best,’ I thanked her and she took the cup.
‘Are you feeling any better?’ she asked.
‘Oh yes, much better,’ I smiled to her and it was truth.
‘Ok, good. I need to go now, my studies start in an hour and then I’ll go working straight after them. If you need anything, call me,’ she said.
‘Ker, you are so good to me. You are like a sister,’ I said. I saw she wiped a tear.
‘Don’t try to make me cry, cause I made a perfect make-up today,’ she smiled. ‘You’re my sister, which I never had,’ she then added and soon left me alone with my thoughts.

Part 16
The next day I was feeling almost fine again.
‘I think I will go to uni next week. I can’t skip my studies,’ I said to Ker, when she was getting ready for a date with a guy she met in her workplace.
‘Well, if you’re feeling better,’ Ker said. She turned around in front of me few times. ‘How do I look?’ she asked.
‘Like a queen. He will love you,’ I said and she laughed.
‘Silly,’ she said and blushed.
Then the door bell rang.
‘I thought he will come after 15 minutes,’ Ker said confused and looked at her watch.
‘Maybe he couldn’t wait any longer,’ I teased her and went to open the door.
‘Hi,’ Mikel said.
I stood silent. I knew my mouth was opened and I realized I looked dumb, to say the least, but I couldn’t shut it.
‘Can I come in?’ he asked and smiled to me.
‘What for?’ I finally asked after few moments of silence.
‘Nick asked to come and check you out,’ Mikel started smiling with his askew grin.
I sighed. I heard Ker coming closer to the door too.
‘Hi, I thought you will come in…’ Ker was saying, but then she saw it wasn’t the person she was waiting for and her mouth also got opened.
‘Just don’t yell!’ I warned Ker when I saw that her eyes got big and very surprised.
‘OH MY DEAR GOD, IT CAN’T BE REAL!’ she yelled after all. I thought I could kill her during those moments. I looked outside and saw that some neighbours were already looking at us curiously.
‘Shit, whatever,’ I muttered and pulled Mikel into the house. I closed the door fast. ‘KER DON’T!’ I said firmly, when I saw her almost yelling again.
‘Eeeer, nice to meet you,’ Kerolain said after a few moments of silence.
‘I can see that,’ Mikel said not too happy.
‘Could you give me an autograph?’ Kerolain asked and she almost got stuck to Mikel as he started walking around in the room. She was walking behind him.
‘Yeah, even on your ass if you want,’ Mikel answered and I thought he was acting like that annoying Mikel I first met. I shook my head. He was probably very annoyed with her actions.
‘Ker, he didn’t come to give autographs. You should better worry about your date,’ I said. Somehow I felt sorry for Mikel as I saw he was irritated with such situation.
‘Oh shit, my date!’ Ker seemed to finally remember it. ‘I need to get my hair fix fast,’ she whined and ran out of the room.
Mikel sighed.
‘Don’t get too happy, she will be back when she is done with her hair,’ I said and crossed my arms on my chest. ‘So, what do you want?’ I asked again.
‘Are you always so rude to people?’ Mikel asked.
‘Are you always so annoying?’ I answered with a question.
‘Only when girls are chasing me,’ Mikel laughed.
‘You are seriously impossible to take,’ I sighed and sat on a chair.
‘Can I have tea or coffee? Or at least some water?’ he asked me. I stared at him for a moment.
‘No,’ I answered finally.
‘Alright, I will ask Ker then, or what was her name. I am sure she will stay with me instead of her boyfriend,’ Mikel said so sure that I got a bit angry at him again.
‘You really should get worried of your ego,’ I said, but I had to admit he was right. Kerolain would really stay with him… And I didn’t want her to ruin her date just because of this annoying star. ‘What do you want – tea, coffee, soda?’ I asked and stood up.
The doorbell rang.
‘It’s Ker’s boy, better hide. I don’t want anybody to know you were here,’ I said fast and pushed Mikel into the nearest room BUT he pulled me in with himself. Sadly it was a closet full of brooms and other shit, but it was too late to change anything. I closed the door behind us.
‘What a cozy room. It’s your bedroom?’ Mikel teased me and I would have hit him, but it was dark inside and I was worried of my own actions. “What the hell have I done?” I thought.
‘Hush, keep it silent! I don’t want people to see you here,’ I whispered to him.
‘You are ashamed such a famous person was at your home?’ Mikel asked.
‘I don’t want millions of girls around the house if they found out you were here. I am sure they’d think I am your lover or something and then they’d try to kill me at least twice a week,’ I muttered.
‘Yeah, you might be right,’ Mikel agreed pleased. He shamelessly squirmed and I felt his body way too close and way too well. ‘Tight,’ he whispered and I felt his breath on my neck.
Ker didn’t hurry up to open the door and I didn’t want to come out until I was sure it was safe. I tried to step back at least a little bit, but I felt some brooms behind me.
‘Don’t you think it’s cozy here?’ Mikel asked me and I heard some naughty vibes in his voice. I gulped and tried to take another step. Sadly, the brooms started swinging dangerously and I got scared they will fall. I imagined Ker hearing some sounds here, opening the door of the closet and seeing the whole situation and my head spun. “What did I get myself into?” I thought.
‘The brooms,’ I moaned unhappy.
‘What’s with them?’ Mikel asked so close to my ear that I had to clench my teeth.
‘They will fall soon. I accidentally hit them with my leg,’ I explained quietly.
‘And you don’t want anybody to see us together here, I presume, so you want some silence here now?’ Mikel asked.
‘Yes,’ I could only say. ‘Help me…’
‘Alright, but remember: you wanted it yourself,’ Mikel said and before I managed to say anything, he pressed me to the wall with brooms. I felt some of them stabbing my back painfully, but they stopped swinging.
However, Mikel was now even closer to me. I could feel every single move of his, even every breath. I started breathing deeply.
