Part 7

I woke up suddenly and I looked at the clock. It was just about 5 am. I felt Javi’s arm around me. And then I realized that I had always wanted only this. A family. A loving man, who sleeps next to me and a little angel child. So, I closed my eyes and pressed myself close to Javi. And fell asleep again.

And so days passed by like this. We were living a happy little family life. But soon those weeks were over and it was Javi’s final vacation week. I tried not to think about it. But even those three weeks had gone so fast. So one week would go even more faster.

One night we were sitting side by side on the couch. Javi’s arm was around me and I laid my head against his chest.
“What we’re gonna do?” I asked suddenly.
“Uhm.. When?” Javi asked little confused.
“Then, when you’re leaving back to Spain.” I whispered.
“I’m sorry, but I don’t know.” he said and slowly fondled my hair.
“We have to figure out something.” I said.
“Or.. Well, This is just an idea. But..” Javi started.
“But what?” I asked.
“You and Sofía could move to Spain.” he said then.
“Are you really sure about that?” I asked.
“Of course I’m. I want to take care of you two.” he said.
“But it takes a long time. I have to pack these things here and do all kind of paper stuff.” I said.
“It’s okay. I can wait.” Javi answered.
“Okay then. We’re moving to Spain! I said and kissed him.
“Look I’ve something for you.” Javi said then.
I saw a familiar box in his hands. I took it and opened it.
“You still have this.” I asked surprised.
“Yes. And I bought a new chain to it so next time it won’t broke so easily.” he replied.
“Aaw. Thanks” I said and put the necklace on my neck.
“I love you.” I whispered.
“Heyy. You’re crying.” Javi said and wiped my tears.
“Yes, I’m.” I said and tried to smile.
“Why?” he asked.
“Just because… I love you so much that it hurts here.” I explained and put my hand on my heart.
“I love you too.” Javi said and hugged me tight.

Part 8

Next day we tried to decide what I should bring with me to Spain and what I could leave here or just sell away. But it was difficult. Javi’s flat wasn’t so big that it would take all my stuff.

“This isn’t coming anything.” I said finally.
“I can’t decide what I should take and what not.” I continued.
“But I know.” Javi said.
“Don’t take anything else than your clothes and Sofía’s stuff. Leave other things here. I’m sure your parents can send your things there if you need them.” he explained.
“My parents.” I repeated shocked.
I had totally forgotten my parents.
“I haven’t even told my parents about you.” I said shocked.
“But you still have time to do that.” Javi said.
“Don’t take a stress about this. Everything will be fine.” he calmed me.
“Okay. Okay. But I think we should visit my parents before you’re leaving.” I said.
“We have enough time to do that.” Javi said.
“Maybe I just call my mom and tell about you. And then we can go there.” I planned.
“Hey, relax!” Javi laughed. “Everything will go well.”
“I know. I’m just little nervous how they feel about you.” I admitted.
“I don’t care how they feel about me. The main thing is that what YOU feel to me.” he said.
“Yeah. I know. I love you. That’s the main thing.” I said and hugged him.
“That sounds much better.” Javi smiled.
“I love you too.” he said and kissed me.
“Okay. I’m gonna call right away to my mom. She can be so suspicious sometimes about my boyfriends.” I said.

And like I guessed, mom was really suspicious about Javi. But when I told that I was moving to Spain, she became even worse.
“You don’t know anybody else there than this..this Javi” she said.
“Actually I do.” I replied.
And I told her about Mikel, Ony, Basty and María.
“But what are you gonna do there? You can’t find a job just like that.” she tried.
“I don’t have to be even at work. Javi earns so well that he can feed us. But of course I’m trying to find some little job there.” I explained.
“But.. But..” my mom tried again.
“Nothing but. You’ve to accept that your little girl is growing and moving aboard. And we’re coming there some day to visit so you can get to know Javi.” I said.
“Okay.” she sighed. “When are you coming?”
“Is tomorrow okay?” I asked.
I wanted to get rid of that visit as soon as possible.
“Tomorrow sounds good.” she replied.
“Great. See you then.” I said.

Actually that visit went quite well. Even mom behaved well. What was quite new from her. Or that might depend on that she doesn’t speak as fluent Spanish as I do. So I had to translate quite much that day. So she didn’t dare to ask anything stupid because I wouldn’t have translated it. But at least she now knows that I’m really serious with Javi. And my dad was really sweet. He just said that if I’m happy, then he’s too.

That last week went fast. Too fast. We did a lot all kind of paper stuff and started to pack things to boxes which I would take to my parent’s house. So, I didn’t have time to even worry that Javi was leaving soon.

And then, too soon, it was the final night.
“I can’t believe that these four weeks are over now.” I said.
“Me either. And I even didn’t plan to be here those weeks.” Javi smiled.
“I’m glad you decided to stay here.” I whispered.
“Me too. Or otherwise we wouldn’t be this kind of situation.” he said.
“What kind of situation?” I teased him.
“The situation like this.” he whispered and leaned against me. And gave me a passionate kiss.
“Aaa.. This kind of situation. Now I understand.” I winked.
“But you could move this whole situation to the bedroom, right?” I grinned.
“Agree.” Javi winked and grabbed me in his arms and carried me to the bedroom.

Part 9

In the middle of the night, we both were awake.
“I don’t want that you leave.” I mumbled.
“Me either. But I have to.” Javi replied sadly.
“But if I don’t let you go? If I hug you so tight that you can’t go?” I smiled.
“Then I’ll tickle you.” he grinned.
“Noo. That’s mean.” I shook my head.
“But you’re also mean if you won’t let me go.” Javi answered.
“Why we’re even talking about this?” I started to laugh.
“I don’t know. You started.” he grinned.
“Hey. Don’t start this again!” I laughed.
“Okay. We should finally sleep.” Javi admitted.
“Yeah. I just can’t sleep.” I said.
“What we should do that you could sleep?” he asked.
“You don’t need to think about it. You can sleep.” I said.
“No. What if I sang something to you? Would it help?” he asked.
“Maybe. If you really want.” I said.
“Of course I want. To sing just for you.” he said and pulled me against him and slowly caressed my back and then started quietly to sing to my ear:

“Sobrenatural

And so I fall asleep, and Javi’s voice was still sounding in my head.

Next day was like a hell. Javi’s flight was leaving in the afternoon. But even that was way too soon. But finally I had to drive him to the airport.
“I wish we could come already now with you.” I said, while we were waiting the last call to the flight.
“I know. And I’m going to miss you two.” Javi said and looked at me and Sofía.
She just slept in her stroller and didn’t care anything what was happening around her.
“But before I have to go, I want to give you this.” Javi said.
I looked at his hands. I couldn’t believe my eyes.
“But.. But.. It’s beautiful.” I could finally say.
“I want that everybody knows and sees that you’re already mine.” he said.
“You wouldn’t have to.” I smiled.
“But I wanted.” Javi said. “So, will you marry me?”
“Yes. I will.” I smiled and tears were burning my eyes.
Javi took gently my hand in his and he put the ring to my finger. And kissed gently my hand. I hugged him tight and cried against his shoulder.
“I hope that those tears are tears of happiness.” he said.
“Yes… They’re.” I said and dried my eyes.
“But wait. You should have a ring too.” I said then.
“We’ve time to buy that. It’s not so important.” Javi said.
“Just wait a minute. I’ll be right back.” I said and grabbed my hand bag.
“But wait! Where’re you going?” Javi asked confused. But I was already gone.

I had remembered right. At the airport was one jewellery shop. I walked straight away there and wanted to see men’s rings. And then I saw it. It was the most perfect ring to Javi. It was kinda expensive but it was worth of it. And I had been away only 20 minutes.

I hurried back to Javi.
“Where were you?” he asked.
“I bought this for you.” I said and gave a little box to him.
He opened it and immediately I saw that he liked it.
“But you didn’t need to do this.” he said then.
“If I have a ring then you must have it too.” I smiled.
“But..” Javi started again but I interrupted him.
“Don’t argue with this. It just have to be like this.” I smiled and took the ring from him and put it to his finger.
“And now, everybody are happy, right?” I asked.
“Yes, very happy.” Javi said and kissed me gently.
At the same time they called Javi’s flight.
“I have to go now.” he said and caressed my cheek.
Tears were burning my eyes again, but this time they were tears of sadness.
“Heyy, I’ll call you every day. And soon you’re coming to Spain.” he smiled.
“I don’t want to let you go.” I said and hugged him tight.
“But you have to.” he said and released himself of my hug.
“I love you.” I said and kissed him last time.
“I love you too.” Javi replied.
He kissed Sofía’s forehead. Then he turned to me and said.” I’ll call you when I’ve arrived.”
“Okay. Just go now.” I whispered sadly.
He turned slowly around and left to walk to the passport control.
