Here's part 20!!!
Part 20
Chasity sat down on the bed with her face to the window. She could look at the sky which was cloudless and the sun shined very bright.
She heard a door closing and footsteps but she didn’t react on that.
Javi sat next to her and slowly put an arm around her middle.
‘Hey, you know you can trust me,’ he said while caressing her cheek. She was still staring out of the window. It was true. She could trust him but this subject could end everything. Everything what Javi has been living for. The band, Mikel his best friend... and maybe he’d think Chasity cheated on him with Mikel. She didn’t know, there were so many possibilities about how it’ll turn out. She groaned and burried her face in her hands.
Javi pulled her closer to him and held her tight.
‘Everytime you do that kinda things you make me even more curious, you know that?’ he smiled while caressing her hair.
‘I know, but it’s so complicated. I mean, I know you’re gonna get angry for sure,’ she said and leant with her head against his naked chest.
‘I promise I won’t get angry at you,’ he said.
‘I don’t believe it. You have to be 100% sure you won’t get angry and still... you don’t know what’s bothering me,’ she said.
‘Hey,’ he said, took her shoulders and looked at her, ‘I won’t get angry at you ok? Especially not if you’re so afraid of it and if you care about it.’
Chasity nodded and sighed.
Then she shook her head desperately. ‘I don’t wanna tell!’ she moaned.
Javi just hugged her. ‘If the time is there and you feel like telling, you can. I’m not gonna put pressure on you,’ he said and kissed her cheek.
‘Thanks,’ she smiled.
‘Erhm, I’ve got to go to dance lesson. Are you gonna be okay?’ he said.
‘Sure,’ she winked. Javi left and Chasity sighed of relief. Almost!
Javi walked quickly over the pavements. He was bursting of curiousity.
What was wrong with Mikel that Chasity absolutely didn’t want to tell, not even to him? He decided to ask Mikel himself. And Mikel couldn’t lie to Javi, he knew that. He smiled a bit. But then he looked scared. This wasn’t so like him. He seemed so... mean. He shook his head confused and walked on to the danceschool with his bag and went inside. The other’s were already there. He also saw Mikel doing his warming-ups.
Javi got dressed and walked inside the room. The others waved. Mikel just smiled and went on with the warming-ups. They started to practise for about three songs.
When the practising was done they all drank some water and washed the sweat of their faces with a towel. Javi waited for the moment when he and Mikel were alone. ‘Mikel can you stay here? I need to talk,’ he muttered to Mikel. He nodded and waited when Ony and Basty left.
They sat down on a bench of the dance room.
‘What’s up?’ Mikel smiled.
‘I wanna know what’s going on between you and my girlfriend,’ he said with concerned face.
Mikel’s face turned serious and scared. She didn’t told her, right? He though and felt a bit panick boiling inside.
‘Well?’ he said.
‘I have no idea where you’re talking about,’ Mikel tried to look confused.
‘No need to pretend, Mikelito. Chasity was quite confused and desperate because there was something with you and her. Only she didn’t tell me what. I said she could tell when the time was there,’ Javi explained.
‘If you said that to her then don’t ask me and do wait when the time is there,’ Mikel said and stood up but Javi pulled him back.
‘Why you’re avoiding it? Is it so bad then?’ Javi said and looked straight at him.
‘Just wait untill Chas is ready to tell it, okay?’ Mikel said tired and sighed.
‘I wanna know right now. Just tell me, is it good or bad,’ Javi said still looking at him.
‘I guess it’s bad,’ he said a bit confused and unsure.
‘Really bad?’ Javi said.
‘I think.’
‘Bad for... Chas and me?’
‘I guess.’
‘Bad for the band?’
‘You know... Javi... why don’t you just ask straight from me what your problem actually is! I already said wait untill the time is there when Chas wants to tell but you keep nagging on my head! I’m tired okay? I need my lunch now,’ Mikel said and wanted to get up again but again Javi pulled him back.
‘What now?!’ Mikel said quite irritated.
‘Do you and Chas... have something... together?’ Javi stuttered.
‘No!’ Mikel said shortly and made a move to get up but Javi stopped him everytime.
‘Then what? What can be there so bad? Have you and Chas slept together? Is she pregnant of you?’
‘JAVI! You’re talking nonsense! It’s nothing bad like that at all! Me? Slept with Chas? C’mon! And she pregnant of me?! Gimme a break! I would never do that to my best friend!’ Mikel said and looked with disbelief at Javi.
‘Then WHAT is it, Mikel! WHAT! I wanna know WHAT!’ Javi yelled and got up and looked at Mikel. He also got up.
‘You wanna know? You really wanna know, huh pal?!’ Mikel said angrily.
‘YES! I wanna know!!!’ Javi yelled again.
