Part 5

Next day I prepared well for the lunch. I wanted to make everything clear to D’Nash right from the start. I went to the restaurant a bit early because I wanted to choose a peaceful corner there so we could talk without any interrupting from the other customers. It didn’t take a long when I saw Javi stepping in. Then right after him came a tall short-haired guy, and after him really cute short-brown haired guy and the last one. Wow! Really muscled body and quite long blond hair. He looked handsome, I had to confess. Then Javi noticed me and lead them to me. The tall guy was Basty, and short-brown haired guy was Mikel. And the blonde one was Ony. And with him I had talked on the phone. Interesting.

I told them what it would be when they would come to our company. I told our rules and what kind of company we are. And after that we signed the contract.
- Welcome to our company at least these three years, I said.
- Thanks. We’re really glad that you chose us, Mikel said.
- But we should celebrate this someway. Hey, let’s order the champagne, Basty suggested.
- That’s good idea. And of course our company pays this, I said.
We talked quite much with our champagne glasses. And I liked all of them. Even Javi behaved quite normal. Or then he didn’t dare to tease me in front of his friends. Well, I don’t know. But then I looked at the clock. Oh shit. I was been here too long. I had still so much work to do.
- I’m sorry guys but I’ve to go now. But you can continue here. I’ll say to waiter that this table’s bill will go to our company, I said.
- No, actually we’ve to go too, Ony said.
- As you say, I said and went to pay the bill.
Javi followed me and asked: - Do you have again a date with that mister Rose?
- It’s still not of your business, but I’ve some work to do, I answered.
Javi just grinned and didn’t say anything. I shook my head and rolled my eyes. He was hopeless. I paid the bill and came back to say goodbye to boys.
- Oh, I almost forgot. Juan is going to keep a party in his home. So you’re very welcome there. And you can stay that night there. There are coming to other artists also and our other employees of course, I explained.
- That sounds great, Mikel said.
- I’ll call you and tell the details later. But now I really have to go. Bye! I said.
- Bye, they answered in one voice.

When I got back to work, there was a message waiting for me. It was from Daniel.
“Hey Alina.” it started. “You weren’t here when I tried to reach you. But I would like to have another lunch with you. Please, call me. Daniel.” And under the note was his number. Lunch with him would be great idea. Then my thoughts wouldn’t be at work all the time. I called him right away.
- Hey, it’s Alina here, I started.
- Oh, hey. I’m glad you called me, Daniel said.
- I got your note and it would be nice to have lunch with you. But with one condition, I said.
- Well, okay. What’s it? he asked.
- This time I really wanna know why you left. You owe it to me, I said.
- Uhm…Well, okay, Daniel admitted finally.

And so we agreed a date to day after tomorrow. I had free day next day so I decided to see my friend Hannah. I hadn’t seen her for a long time. And I really had so much to tell. We met in the café. It was so good to see her. I told everything about Daniel and Javi.
- Wow. You really got men around you now, she laughed.
- And I don’t even like Javi, I smiled.
- And you’re still talking about him, Hannah winked.
- Hey, don’t start that too. One annoying guy is enough for me, I complained.
- Okay, okay. But what are you going to do with Daniel? I mean, he left you and now he wants you back, she asked.
- I dunno. I’m going to hear his explanation tomorrow. And that must be really good one before I’m going to take him back, I said.

Part 6

Next week went fast. I had a lot of work and I dated with Daniel much. I believed his explanation about another woman. But I wasn’t really convinced that it was good reason to leave me. So I let things to be like this. Nothing more. Because I wasn’t sure about this. If I take him back, would he leave me again if he finds better woman than me. I still couldn’t trust him.

Then Juan told that the party will be on next Saturday. And at the same time we would celebrate he and Sarah’s marriage. They had been married for 1 year. And we all could stay the night there. Juan had really huge cottage where they were keeping this party. I informed D’Nash about that and they promised to come. And I also asked if Daniel would like to come with me there. And he was coming also. Great, if he would behave well there, I could give him another opportunity. But I decided to think about that later. There were still few days to that party.

On the Saturday I picked Daniel from his flat. And then I drove us to Juan’s huge cottage. Or cottage was little wrong word. A castle would be better. It was as big as a castle, but it looked like a cottage. Yeah, Juan is rich. I know that. But Daniel’s face was really surprised when I drove to the front yard.
- And you say this is a cottage? he asked eyes wide open.
- Yes. We call it a cottage, I said.
We walked in and there everything was already ready.
- Is anybody else arrived yet, I asked from Juan.
- Only Annelien has come, he answered.
- So, which rooms are for us? I asked then.
- You can take that where you have always been and you, he said and turned to Daniel, you van take the room next to hers. And by the way, nice to see you again. Where did you disappear so quickly? Juan asked.
- Juan, I said angrily, Don’t start to tent him right from the start.
- Okay, okay, he laughed, But we’ll talk this night, right? he asked.
- You can’t leave my daughter just like that, he said.
Daniel looked at me terrified.
- But when the party will begin? I changed the subject.
I didn’t want to think about their coming conversation.
- I think in few hours, Juan said.
- Great. Then I’ll have time to take a shower and change my clothes, I said.
- Come Daniel, I’ll show your room, I said and took his hand.

I lead him to his room. Servants had already taken our things to our rooms. And Juan had plenty of servants. Otherwise he can’t keep this house in good care. The house had three floors. The two highest had bedrooms, WC’s and bathrooms. And the downstairs had living room, kitchen, fire room, library etc. My room was on the second floor.

After I had taken the shower I introduced the house to Daniel. And when we arrived at the downstairs there were already many guests. Many of them were our employees and some older artists had also come. I introduced Daniel to them. Then we went to buffet table to take something to eat and drink. The house started to fill with people.

Finally D’Nash arrived too. When I introduced them to Daniel, I saw that Javi understood that Daniel was his “Mister Rose”. I left them to talk and went to take more food. And Javi followed me there.
- So he’s your boyfriend? he asked and at the same he filled his plate full of food.
- No, we’re just dating. Nothing more, I said.
- Just dating? he laughed.
- I think he isn’t only dating. He has stared you all the time when I’ve talked to you, he grinned.
I turned my head to Daniel and saw how he quickly turned his head away.
- Maybe he’s thinking that I’m going to take you away from him, Javi laughed.
- You? Taking me away from him? Very funny, I said bored.
- But that’s how he acts, he explained.
- But nobody can take away from anybody because I don’t belong to anyone, said and left away.
Javi really got my blood to boil in my veins. He just could spoil every moment when I tried to talk with him. When I left I heard Javi’s laugh. That made me even angrier.

Part 7

Soon it was time to drink to Juan and Sarah. They walked down along the stairs and everybody were clapping and cheering. Sarah was really beautiful that night. And Daniel had noticed that too. He didn’t get his eyes away of her. Then I realized that he hasn’t changed at all. If he sees better woman he’ll go to her. And I got even angrier to him. But he didn’t notice that at all. I went to buffet table and took a really big drink. I needed that right now. How I had been so stupid that I had thought that he wants me really back. I bet he had broken up with that other woman. And then he remembered me and thought that maybe I’ll take him back. Never! Now he’s drooling my mother-in law…

I had already drunk my drink and I took a new one. I went to terrace with it. But I couldn’t be alone there. Ony came also there and saw me alone with many empty glasses.
- Somebody has own party here, he said and sat down.
- Don’t even start. I want to be alone, I said.
- Okay. I won’t say anything. I just can’t stand that party at the moment, Ony said pissed of.
- Great, me either, I said and drunk the last drink
- I’m going to have new one. Do you want? I asked.
- Sure, he answered.

I was already a bit drunk and then we started to drink together, me and Ony. Soon we both were really drunk.
- I don’t know when I’ve had so funny, I laughed.
- Me either, Ony laughed back.
- I wanna go in. It’s freezing here, I complained and tried to stand up.
But my sense of balance was so messed up. So I couldn’t get to stand up but I crashed back to my chair. And I just laughed.
- I think you’re too drunk to do anything, Ony laughed.
- And you can stand up then? I asked.
- Of course I can, he laughed and managed to do that.
- I think we both should go to sleep, he said then.
- No, I want to stay here, I tried.
- No, I’ll lead you to your room, Ony said.
When he grabbed gently my arm and we started to walk slowly back in, I noticed how muscled he was. And how handsome.
- Where’s your room? he asked when we were on the second floor.
- I dunno. Somewhere in this floor, I laughed.
- Oh, now I remember. It was that one, I said and pointed one door.
- Great. Because my room is opposite yours, Ony smiled.
- Can I have a good night kiss from you, I asked kindly.
- But what about your boyfriend? Ony asked.
- He’s not my boyfriend and I don’t care, I said angry.
- Okay, okay. Don’t get mad, he laughed and kissed me on my both cheeks.
- But a good night’s kiss should be on the lips, I complained.
Ony looked at me for a while. And I stared at his brown eyes. How deep they were. Then his head came closer and he kissed me softly.
- Mmm…That was quite good as a drunken person’s kiss, I teased him.
- Quite good? Then I’ll show you something better, he smiled and grabbed me in his room and closed the door.
