Part 18

I could control myself all the way to plane. But when I sat down to my seat I burst into crying. I didn’t know why.

I was really busy with my work. I did very long days so actually I didn’t have time to think my own life almost at all. I met Ony once and seemed that he had got over his little crush on me. And I was glad about it. Also Daniel had left a message once in my answering machine. I left one message to him too. I told very clearly words that I won’t take him back. Not now, nor ever.

I had heard that D’Nash was doing some promo-tour all over the Europe. So I couldn’t bump into Javi long time. But still I couldn’t forget that week what we spent together in Tenerife. It was something what I haven’t experienced ever. I realized that now.

One day I got post to my work. It was little unusual to get a private post straight to work. And that day was about month later of my Tenerife holiday. I opened the envelope curious. Who wanted send something to me to my work? There was only a photo. A photo of me and Javi. We both were laughing. I didn’t remember why but we both were happy at that photo. On the other side had written: “Remember? Don’t believe what your mind says, do what your hearts says. Javi” I looked at the picture again. I had totally forgotten how handsome he was. I really could drown into those green eyes. And that moment I realized that I loved him. I had always loved. I had been so blind that I hadn’t realized that until now. But was it too late to tell everything to him? But why Javi sent the photo to me if he hasn’t some feeling to me? I considered these things with Hannah. To her mind I should talk with Javi. Or at least she said so. But on the other hand it was me who left Javi at the Tenerife. I was usually too proud to say I was wrong. But this time I decided to swallow my pride.

A chance to speak with Javi came sooner than I had expected. Juan called and said that again was a party because of all new contracts we had made. And of course all older members would invite also. I just had to put my thumbs up and hope that D’Nash would come there.

Soon the party evening arrived. I chose carefully my clothes. When I looked good I got more self-confidence to speak with Javi. I arrived at Juan’s cottage early. I wanted to check were D’Nash in the guest list. And they were. So now I really needed to hope they were really coming. This time I was wiser and I drank only lemonade. I didn’t want to be drunk ever again. Who knows, if I was drunken this party I would find myself from Mikel’s or Basty’s bed. No thanks! So, I stayed in lemonade. I wandered all around and tried to find Javi. But I didn’t see any of them. I was giving up hope when I suddenly saw him. I walked towards him when I realized he was talking with some woman. Oh, shit. I was obviously too late. I panicked. I had trust that I wasn’t late. I ran away from there. I didn’t see anything because tears were already running on my cheeks. I found myself from terrace. Actually it was the same where I once had been with Ony. I leaned against the railing which rounded the terrace. I cried helplessly. Only one thought rounded in my mind. I was too late. If I had realized earlier what my feelings showed maybe everything would be different this time.

Suddenly someone grabbed me, turned around and hugged me tight. Those arms, that chest, that smell. How could I ever forget them?
It was Javi.

Part 19

He hugged me really tight. I couldn’t go anywhere there if I had wanted. I still cried against his shoulder. When I finally could stop crying, I smiled to him. I couldn’t believe that he really was here. I had to hug him again.
- Why you ran away so fast? Javi mumbled to my hair.
- I was coming to talk with you. But you were talking with some woman. And then I panicked, I explained silently.
- But why? he asked.
- I thought I was too late, I said.
- Well, I’m here now. What you wanted to talk about? he smiled.
- I got your photo which you sent to me while ago. And I think I realized something then. Gosh, I’ve been so stupid all the time, I said.
- So, what you realized? Javi asked.
- That I can’t live without you anymore, I whispered and looked at his eyes.
- Great that you finally understood that, he smiled and kissed me softly.
- Seems that you’ve know it a long time, I said asking.
- You left so quickly from Tenerife that I couldn’t understand that at first. But then I realized how much I missed you when you weren’t there anymore, Javi explained.
- I’ve missed you too, even understanding that took a while from me, I smiled.
- It’s better late than never, I think, Javi said and kissed me.
- Mmm…Totally agree, I mumbled.

- Let’s go away from this boring party, I suggested between kisses.
- But we’ve common car with boys. And I’ve drunk beers so I can’t even drive, Javi said.
- Don’t worry, I’ve car, I said and waved my car keys in front of him. - And I haven’t drunk any alcohol.
Javi still looked at me weird.
- Ah, now I know. You think woman can’t drive a car well, I teased him.
- No I don’t mean that, Javi tried to explain.
- It’s okay. I’ll show that you’re totally wrong.

We took our things with us and Javi said to other boys that he’ll leave already now. And at the same time I told the same to Juan. We met at the hall and I led the way to my car.
- So, do you like it? I asked and threw my things on the back seat.
And Javi did the same of his things.
- It’s great, he only could answer.
Juan had bought a black sport car for me. I loved that car. It worked like a dream.
Javi sat on the front seat. He locked the seat belt carefully. I had to laugh at him.
- You seem to be little scared, I teased him and gave a quick kiss to him.
- Don’t worry, I’m good driver, I said and started the engine of the car.

Only thing what others could see when I drove away from the yard was huge gravel cloud in the air. Javi didn’t say anything during my drive. It didn’t bother me because I was enjoying the driving. I didn’t drive any over speed. I just showed that I can drive and the others can see it.

I drove straight to my house. I stopped the car and looked at Javi. He was like he would have seen a ghost. Really pale.
- Hey, I shook his shoulder. – It’s over now, I said and caressed his face.
He still didn’t answer me at all.
- Hey, are you okay? I started to be really worried about him. – Javi! Answer me! That couldn’t be so terrible?
Suddenly he turned to me and kissed me.
- No it wasn’t, it was great, he smiled.
- That wasn’t funny. I scared that something happened to you, I shook my head.
- You were teasing me before. So I wanted to tease you, he smiled. And it was funny to see you worried, he laughed.
- At least you aren’t changed at all. Still teasing me, I said. – But if you could get your ass of that seat we would go to in.

But something really nice was waiting in front of my door. Daniel.
- What the hell you are doing here? I asked him.
- I want to talk…but he couldn’t go further when he saw Javi behind me.
-You’re with him? he asked.
- Yes. I’m with him. And now go to hell and never come back please, I said angry.
- But…he tried.
- You heard what Alina said. Go! Javi said to him.
But he still didn’t move anywhere.
- Are you walking yourself or must I show you how to do it? Javi asked angrily.
Finally Daniel seemed to understand he wasn’t going to get anything here.
- You’ll so regret this! he yelled behind us.
- Yeah. For sure, Javi whispered.

We went to in and I threw my bag to the floor. I was so angry to Daniel. He still doesn’t believe that I won’t take him back. Not now. Not ever. Javi noticed I was angry. He hugged me.
- Hey, calm down. Don’t think about that bastard anymore, he said.
- I’m just so angry to him at the moment, I said
- Forget that. I think we’ve something more important to think and do now, he smiled and kissed me very passionately.
- I agree totally, I said and led him to my bedroom.
