Natalia has spent the whole night by her father. She didn’t want to leave him. She fell asleep with her hands and head on her father’s hand. In the morning was Natalia woken by something touching her cheek. At first she was kinda confused, but in a moment she realized what it was.
“Dad?” Natalia didn’t believe what she saw. Her father was awake and smiling.
“Natalia? It’s good to see you back home.” her father was pretty surprised to see her by his side.
“Yeah. It’s good to be home. I think I should call mum to tell her that you are awaken.”
“Hey mum. … Dad is awaken. … No, we talken a little bit and he seems to remembre everything. … Ok. Se ya in a minute. Bye.”
Natalia returned to her father.
“So what did she say?”
“She will be here in a minute.”
“Well. That gives us plenty of time.”
“May I ask you something, daddy?”
“Go ahead. If I know the answer I will tell you.”
“Do you believe in a destiny?”
“What you mean?”
“Like when you meet someone and from the first moment you know you belong to each other.”
“That’s very difficult. But yes. I believe in destiny.”
“Really? How so?”
“It’s you. If it wasn’t my destiny to have such a georgeous daughter that I don’t know what it was.”
“I love you daddy.” said Nat and hugged her father.
“I love you too my child.”

Natalia’s father was released form hospital after 6 weeks. Doctors were finally satisfied with his condition, but they recommended him to relax. And because of this her mother planned a trip. She didn’t tell them where are the going.
“Are you sure you don’t wanna go with us?” asked Nat’s mum when they were leaving.
“Yeah. Absolutely.”
“As you wish.”
“Enjoy it.”
“We will. See ya in few moths. Bye.” said her mother and wolked to their car.
“Bye.” said Natalia and closed the door for their house.
But she didn’t walk a few metres whe she heard a huge explosion.

She run quickly to the door and when she opened it, she saw a burning car. It was obvious that no-one survived. She was just standing there, staring at the car and thinking if it is real. The world around her was like slowed down, blurred. She heard sirens coming closer and closer. But she didn’t move. And then was the world black.
Natalia woke up at the hospital.
“Where am I?”
“Miss, I’m detective Samuels from LAPD. I need to ask you few questions.”
“Why am I here?” asked Natalia confused.
“Miss, your parents’ car exploded. Forensics found a piece of a booby-trap under the car. They were killed. I’m sorry.”
“What? Are you serious?”
“Miss. If you know anything that could help us I need to know it.”
“ I…I…I don’t know. I came back several weeks ago ‘coz my father had an accident. He never told me there’s something wrong.”
“Maybe it wasn’t accident after all. I will take a look at it. Thank you.” said the detective and left the room.
But he wasn’t about to leave the hospital. He went to the doctor who takes care of Natalia.
“What’s her condition, doc?”
“Well. She suffered a nerv shock. And there might be some amnesia. We will keep her here for few days watching and then we’ll see.”
“But she seems to remember a lot.”
“Brain is very difficult thing. She might have just the good memories and might lost the bad and those which could make her feel sad.”
“Thank you doc.” said detective and left the hospital.

Natalia was under persistent supervision. But since the test showed nothing bad, she was allowed to go home.

Last few days has Natalia spent in total silence. It was like she wasn’t even alive. She didn’t eat, she didn’t drink, she didn’t smile. She was waiting for redemption from her pain and sorrow. But it wasn’t coming. One night she took more pills than usually in hope to never woke up again.

Eyes were opening slowly. They saw bright light. Everything was white. It was so painful.
“Am I in heaven?” the girl asked.
“She is awaken. Get a doctor.” She heard someone screaming.Then she fell asleep again.
When she woke up again, she felt someone is holding her hand. But she didn’t open her eyes. They still remembered the light. But after a while they decided to try to open. When they opened, they saw a man sitting by the body and holding the hand.
“Are you an angel?” the girl asked.
“I’m your guardian angel.” the man replied.
Suddenly everything came back to Natalia’s head. Who she is and what she did.
“Damned.”
“Angry ‘coz it didn’t work?”
“What do you know about it? And who the hell are you?”asked Natalia angrily.
“I found you.”
“Great. Why did you do it?” asked Natalia crossly.
“Because your mother was friend of mine and I owe her a lot.”
“But you don’t owe me anything. There’s no reason for you to stay.”
“You are the reason.”
“What are you talking about?”
“A long time ago I promised your mother to take care of you if anything happens to her.”
“What? What wa supposed to happen to her?”
“Nothing. It was just insurance.”
“Like I believe you.”
Their conversation was interrupted by the doctor, who came into the room.
“When can I go home, doc?”
“You could go home right away, but since you need to be under supervision, I have to let you stay here.”
“Why?”
“I can’t let you alone.There’s possibility you could do it again.”
“I will take care of her doctor.” the man said.
“No you won’t.” said Natalia.
“Why not?”
“I don’t know your name.”
“I’m Tony.”
“Well. I’m going to prepare the papers that you have to sign. But you can’t let her alone. It’s too dangerous.”

Tony was driving the car and Natalia was sitting next to him. They didn’t speak much ‘coz Nat was still little upset.
“This is not my house.” said Natalia when they arrived to a huge house.
“I know. It’s mine. I already told the servants to bring your stuff here.”
“You did what?”
If Natalia was upset just a little, now she was pretty angry.
“The doc said I have to watch you and since my house is also my office, I need to be here. That’s why you’re gonna stay here.”
“Fair enough.”
Tony wanted to help Nat outta the car, but she was faster. The servants came to welcome them, but Nat didn’t like it. It was odd. One of the servants took her luggage and other lead her to her room. She had a huge white room with a view on sea. It was beautiful.
“You like it?” asked Tony Nat when she returned down.
“Oh yeah. It’s cool. Do you have a gym here?”
“Yep. It’s downstairs. And we also have sauna and jacuzzi.”
“Sounds great.”
For few days Natalia forget all her problems. She felt like livin’ in a paradise. But when detective Samuels came to visit her, the paradise was over.
“Detective. I’d normally said it’s good to see you, but I don’t think you bring me good news.”
“Indeed I am not. We still don’t know who killed your parents, and to get closer to it, we need your warranty to enter your mother’s office.”
“Can’t the judge do it?”
“We don’t have enough proofs so he won’t allow it. We need your warranty.”
“Do you promise to find my parents’ killer?”
“Yes I do.”
“OK. What have I sign?”
“Thank you madam.”
“No prob.”
When detective left, Natalia felt sad again. Now she wanted to know more than ever who killed her parents. She decided to try to find it out on her own.
