Part 11

Basty came back home and went straight to his own room. Mikel was surprised. “Did she turned him down? Huh, that can’t be possible coz I had the feeling they really like each other.. What do you think Sienna?” He asked one of the horses. She shook her head. “Yeah, that was what I was thinking. This thing stinks..” He caressed her head and went inside. Emillio was sitting on the sofa in the livingroom. “ehmm.. Sir? Do you know what’s wrong with Basty?” Emillio looked up. “No, I don’t.. He came home after visiting that girl and went to his room at once.” “Weird.. Why is he so sad then?” “Amigo, you have to ask him, not me..” Mikel nodded and ran upstairs. “Don’t dare to come in! I will throw a pillow against your head!” “Ooohh.. Now I’m scared..” Mikel joked and opened the door. Basty didn’t hesitate and threw one of the pillows from his bed to his friend. Skillful he catched it. “What the hell are you listening? Is that.. Dude, this must be serious.. You haven’t listened to this for a long time after that first girl..” Basty was lying on his bed, face down into a pillow. Mikel sat down next to him. “C’mon.. Tell me; what happened?” “Don’t wanna talk about it..” Mikel sighed and looked over his shoulder at his friend. Basty looked back at him. His eyes were red of crying. “She fudging disappeared from here.. I went to her house, had bought flowers for her, and an old grumpy woman opened the door. She said that Laura moved out of it, that she had to leave. She doesn’t know why and to where.. I can’t believe it.. I.. I loved her Mikel.. I truly did.. And she simply left.. I.. I.. It..” He couldn’t say any other word and turned back to the pillow. His shoulders were shaking. Mikel had never seen him cry like this. Mikel laid his hand on his shoulder. “We will find out why. Come, dry your tears and come with me. I have an idea.” Basty did what his friend said and turned the music off. “We have to look nice. Ehmm.. What about a suit? It is part of my evil, genius plan..” They got dressed up and walked out of the door. Soon they arrived at a shop and walked inside. “Can I help you two?” A woman walked to them with a fake smile on her face. “Maybe, maybe..” Mikel said with a serious face. “Do you know if two of your employees are here today? It’s urgent to speak them, now?” “It depends on who you want to speak sir.” “Laura and Priya.” Basty said. “I’m sorry sir, but I had to send them to Torre. They work in boutique ‘La Sombra’.” She said. In her eyes came disdain. Mikel nodded once, and turned around. Basty followed his example and they walked out of the store. “What to do now? Torre is not a place near Madrid..” Basty said. “I don’t care.. Pack your bags. We’re gonna leave to Torre del Mar tomorrow.” Mikel said. The guys walked back home. They both went to bed early. They had to pack their stuff. Both didn’t took much with them, only some clothes and a little bit money.

The next morning they woke up before Emillio. Sneaky they saddled their horses and walked with them out of the patio. Basty and Mikel got on Abele and Achara. As fast as they could, they rode to Torre del Mar. “La Sombra, La Sombra.. Where the hell is that shop?” Mikel asked. “Ma’am, can you help us? We are looking for ‘La Sombra’. It’s a new boutique here..” “Just around the corner, second street on your right, next to the barber shop.” And she smiled friendly. “Thanks madam.” Basty said and they rode away. “Charming men.. Won’t help them anyway..” The lady said and got into a dark street. She took her magic stick and the lady changed back into… Prisca.
