A short story about Mikel Wink

it's nothing great just Wink

Part 1
An early call woke me up… I clumped out of the bed and while I was walking towards my cell I passed a mirror… I suddenly jumped back and looked at it again… Man I had a good party yesterday I thought to myself and yawned… For a second I forgot why did I get out of the bed in the first place but the annoying cell didn’t shut up… I opened the phone and said a bit angrily…
- Who is disturbing me at a time LIKE THIS…
- Wow someone is in a grumpy mood… It’s Jen..
- If you called just to tell me this… I swear Jen… I will….(I yawned at the cell)
- Calm down I have good news for you…
- It’s better be good… ( I laughed at a sleepy tone)
- How about going shopping for a white, wedding-dress and a bridesmaid dress… Some nice bootees with that dress? M?
- Don’t tell me…. Tom proposed?
- Yes…yesterday… I told you that date in the boat was suspicious…
- AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! (I shouted at the phone) My little girl is getting married… I started dancing…With phone in one hand and a cracker in the other one I danced my happy dance… But I heard Jen’s voice from the phone and I remember I didn’t hung up…
- Are you still there…? I thought you got a heart attack or something.. (we both laughed)
- Yes…I was just.. um.. dancing.. Well you know… But I still can’t believe my little Jen is getting married… My warmest regards girl..
- So after two days we will go to pick out the dress…. A wedding dress for me and A bridesmaid dress for you, Aly, Luisa and Sharlote…
- It’s fine with me.. I’ll talk to my teacher and he will understand me for sure… Now Sorry Hun I am dead tired….
- You went partying with Enrique last night ?
- Yeah… Some wild party we had…. And now my head is acing….
- Ok ok I will give you peace… Sweet dreams…
I hung up the phone and rolled back in to the bed…
Some days later…
I was looking at the empty street and rubbing my hands that they wouldn’t gangrene from the freeze… I looked at the watch… then again and again… When I finally lifted my eyes I saw Jen walking towards me…
- You are late… I said a bit irritated.. And rolled my eyes…
- Sorry, I know but the traffic was heavy…
- So show me those dresses…. I’ dying of impatience… I said and squirmed…
When I got dressed I was very pleased by the view… I mean a heavenly pink colored dress… The top of the dress was like a corset… I thought It was a bit to eye catchy but… If that’s’ what the bride wants… After fitting a million dresses.. We managed to pick the right ones but.. We got tired so we stopped at a little coffee.
- So who will you pick to be my groomsman? I asked her when the weird bartender finally brought my drink and winked at ,me)
- What? What do you mean?
- What ,what? I am not going alone silly… I teased her…
- You know exactly what I mean ( Jen rolled her eyes…)
- Weeeeeel… ( I started spinning the coke with the straw)
- I am listening? She leaned a little bit forward.. like I was going to tell a big secret .. .
- Well It’s nothing much just… Well…Enrique and I broke up….
- Whaaat? She said loudly, but when everybody at the coffee started staring at her she bended her head a bit down and giggled… why?
- Ask himself.. I dunno he left me.. I was a bit irritated Now I was shouting …
- Don’t worry I will find someone for you.. She putted her hand on mine, But I loosened my hand firmly …
- So you thing I am so terrible I can’t find anyone my self?
- Not at all.. I I….
- Forget it…. I said less angry… More desperately I could say and left the Coffee… Jen left after me, but before leaving she paid the bartender for the coke and the coffee…
When I left the Coffee I sat down on a bench that was standing nearby. I took out a pack of cigarettes… They were Enrique’s… The only thing that was left of him to me was a pack of cigarettes.. I looked at them a bit sadly... then I took out one and lighted it… First puff… Jen sat near me…
- You promised me you would quit smoking…
- Sorry.. About everything….
- It’s ok … She hugged me and caressed my shoulders…

Part 2….

Me and Jen went shopping for usual wedding stuff…. I got up at 7 pm. So I had just a little bit of make up and some casual cloths… T-skirt and jeans… Sunglasses to hide my overslept eyes…. So anyways we were walking down town in the city center…. Having fun.. It was a nice, sunny day, a perfect for a walk… I bought a cold coffee late drink… With a straw in it…mm... My favorite drink… I was telling her about some guy when a phone call interrupted my tale. Jen talked short and simple… But at the end of the conversation she smiled…
- Do you have some lip balsam or mascara?
- Why do you need it? I asked surprised…
- I don’t need it, but you will…
- What are talking about..? I looked at her like she was an alient from another planet and pretended to get really scared… Then sipped my coffee late drink….
- Your groomsman will be here in 15 minutes…. She teased me…
- What? Now?
- Mhm…
- RITGh NOW?
- Yup…
- I clumsily started searching trough my bag for some lip gloss… Eureka! I founded… I lifted the lip gloss like it had been magical or something… Jen laughed and made me laugh also… After some time in quite we saw 3 boys coming towards us… we were sitting in a low spot so they didn’t see us but we saw them perfectly… When he finally turned his head to our side I could easily see his face…
- Mm, he’s cute… I said…
- Why do you think I picked him up for you…. Shit…BOW…
- What?
- They saw us… they are coming this way….
- Um.. pretend to be normal… We both giggled When they came to us I greeted Tom With by waving my hand… Tom introduced me to my future wedding pair… Hi’s name was Mikel.. When I stood up and greeted him he literally scaned me with his eyes… From bottom to top and otherwise.. I pretended I didn’t see that but I felt blood rushing to my face and my cheeks becoming red…
Then Jen stood up and kissed with Tom.. well it was more like making out…
- Get a room you too…. I said and laughed…
- Maybe we should get a room to… Mikel said and winked at me..
- yeah dream on.. I said and rolled my eyes….
- I know you want me…
- Really how? I said a bit irritated…
- No girl can resist me…. He said and smiled at me really askew…
- No shit mister center of the earth…
- I think we should leave them to alone.. Jen said and laughed…. Then she took Tom’s hand and they walked away…

- Well I have to go away too…
- Your not thinking of leaving me here alone? I said a bit scared
- Oohh so now you want to be with mister center of the earth? HE smiled at me… Although I was mad at him his smile was cute so I smiled too….
- Well… I don’t know the city.. So I will get lost or something…
- No
- ? I looked at him with a questioning exprecion in my face…
- I have to go and meet my friends…
- So just drive me home…. I said and putted my hands crossed on my chest…
- And why should I do that…?
- Ok I will go by foot…Maybe I will find my home…TOMORROW…
- Ok ok I will drive you home….
- Thank you.. But it didn’t sound polite at all….
After a couple of minutes we sat in to the car and drove away… But we didn’t talk at all… He just looked at the road… I on the otherhand look at him… Just with the edged of my eyes but I could see him perfectly… I didn’t felt how all of my face stared straightly to him….
He realized that I was looking at him.. And turned his eyes from a road for a minute and looked at me…He started laughing…
- What? What is so funny? I asked a bit irritated…
- Well from the moment we met I thought you hated me…And now you are staring at me…
- I was not staring I was just… looking… I said and sticked out my tong…
He laughed again…Now he laughed sinciere and not askew…
- Why can’t you act normal and not like a little girl? HE teased me…. And laughed…
- I am not acting like a little girl…
- Who took candy from this little girl…gugu he made some strange faces… Although he looked adorable I hated him for doing that…
- You know you are such an…. I wanted to say ass but his phone rang and I stopped…
- Can you take my phone out of my pocket…
- Witch one? I said madly ?
- The top one…I took it out and gave it madly to him…
- You can also take the other phone… Form the middle pocket… He laughed and answered the phone…
- Asshole…I said firmly and hit his arm…
- Careful honey… You might hurt me.. He sended and air kiss and then started to talk to the phone… A paper lump hit his head and bounced of somewhere…
- Hey… Stop it… I didn’t say a word and threw another one to him….
- I mean it If you don’t stop it I will stop the car…
- Okay Daddy… I will be a nice girl… I showed my tong again…
He started laughing loudly…. But after a few seconds he remembered he was talking with the phone and continued the conversation….
- Yes..Ok I will be there in about 5 minutes… bye…
- But my house is 3 blocks away from here….
- Oh I will go to pick up my friend and then I will take you home…
- If he is as stuck up as you I will go by foot thank you…
- I am not stuck up… And by the way I am taking you home while I could be with my friends already… And he looked back to the road…
- Fine… I reclined my back to the seat and looked at the road vainly…
When we finally stopped by some pub he unfastened his seat belt.
- I will go talk to him and hen we will go.. wait here and don’t touch anything…
I didn’t say anything and just turned my head the other way… I heard as he sighed and closed the door… When I finally Turned my head to the door.. I saw that he was talking to Enrique…
