STREET DANCES - Prologue
Prologue
Hello. I have decided to tell my and my brother life story, but I don’t know from where should I start. Well first I will introduce myself. I am Manuela Hennet Sotomayor. I was born in 1987 in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, but I grew up in London. When I was two years old my father and my brother (he was four years older than me) died in accident. Then my mother didn’t wanted to live anymore, but she had me. She decided to leave Spain and to go to England to start a new life. She got married with rich businessman. After three years she felt pregnant and now I have a little sister. Well she is not that little now. She is 18. My new father never loved me. I think that my mum after father’s death stopped loving me too. Everything what I do or every step I make is wrong for her. That’s why I have decided to live on my own. When I have just finished school I asked her to buy apartment for me and she bought it. I didn’t have any money, so I started to work as dance teacher after university. Dance it was the only thing that I was living for. The whole my day was planned. In the morning university, after it dance classes and in the evening night clubs where I was relaxing.
Should I continue or stop?

Re: STREET DANCES - Part 67 THE END
Part 1
After dance classes Tom came to talk with me. He also there works as a teacher.
- Every day your moves are better and better. Said Tom.
- Well, thanks. I said.
- Your group is very lucky to have such a teacher like you.
- It’s nice to hear it.
- Have you heard about Street dances? Asked Tom.
- What is it?
- As I can see you haven’t heard about it.
- No, I haven’t.
- There dance only the best and you are one of them. You should go there.
- It sounds interesting. Where is it?
- Well these years in Madrid, Spain.
- Oh Spain. Why I haven’t heard about it?
- Because it’s illegal. If police will get information where it is going to be they will arrest everyone.
- It sounds dangerous, but I like it.
- So will you go?
- I don’t know maybe, maybe not.
- Why?
- Well I don’t have where to go and the university.
- There lives my sister Paula, so you could stay in her home and if you would like you could stay to live there. There is a lot of universities.
- That would be great. I am tired of such a life. Every time the same. I need something new. I will think about it and I will tell you tomorrow.
- Ok I will wait. Said Tom.
My mobile phone started to ring. It was Chelsea my best friend.
- Hey, Manuela where are you? I am waiting here for you about 15 minutes.
- Oh, I am sorry. I was talking with Tom. I am coming.
- Ok, I am waiting.
- Well, I have to go. Chelsea is waiting for me. I said.
- Ok, go. See you tomorrow. Said Tom.
Chelsea was waiting me in her car. When I open the door the music was playing very loudly.
- Can you turn it off? I shouted.
- What? Asked Chelsea.
I sat into her car and turned off the radio.
- That. I said.
- Why you turned it off?
- You know music for today it’s enough.
- Oh, ok. So how was your day? She asked.
- The same like all.
- So where you want to go?
- Can you drive me to my mother’s house? I asked.
- Yes, sure.
- Today Tom said one thing and I like it.
- What he has said?
- About Street dances. I said.
- What is it?
- As he told there dance only the best.
- It’s place for you. Where is it going to be?
- In Madrid, Spain. I said.
- Will you go?
- I don’t know.
- If I were you, I would go.
- It’s easy to say for you.
- You need something new and everyone knows it.
- Well, maybe.
- Of- course there will be one problem for you where to stay.
- Tom sister lives there and he told that I could stay in her home.
- Then there is no problem. Go and don’t think anymore. Well we arrived. She said.
- Thanks. See you tomorrow. I said.
- See you.

Part 2
Chelsea drove away. I went to the door and knocked. Sabine opened the door. She is my sister and she was the only one who was waiting me.
- Finally you came. She said and hugged me. I missed you a lot. I am going crazy in this home without you. She continued.
- I missed you too. I said.
- Come in it’s a bit cold outside. Said Sabine.
I came in, put all my stuff near doors and we went to the living room.
- Hi mother. I said.
- Finally you are here. She said and walked to the kitchen. She didn’t hug me. It seems that she hasn’t missed me. We haven’t seen each other for two weeks.
- You know you became very rude. Said my step father.
- Oh I forgot to say hello for you. Hello Simon. Happy? I asked a bit angry.
- Of- course. He said with a fake smile.
I turned around and walked to the dinning room. Sabine came after.
- Why I came here? I asked.
- I hate them too. I am a bit jealous for you. Said Sabine.
- Why? My life sucks.
- You live on your own, you are great dancer and you don’t have to see them everyday.
- Yeah I live on my own, but I have to work, because when I left home she is not giving money anymore.
- But you are happier than me.
- The happiness of my face went out the same day when Simon came.
- Do you remember your father?
- Not a lot. Just his green eyes and I know that he really loved me and my brother. I wish they were here.
Then mother came into the dinning room.
- Please sit and eat until is hot.
- Ok. I said.
- So, Manuela tell me how was your day? Asked mum.
- Well like always. University, dance classes and home.
- It seems that your life sucks. Said Simon.
- You know, no. I love my life, because I don’t have to see you stupid face every day.
- It seems that you didn’t know how to grow up this lady. He said.
- Oh come on Simon don’t say that you care how I am acting, because I won’t believe it. You just care only about yourself. How many times you asked mother if she needs something?
- Well…. He said.
- Never. Because you are an asshole. When I said it I felt so good.
- Manuela, please stop. Said mother.
- She is not like you Suzan. It seems that she is like her father.
- Don’t mention my father. He loved his children. You have only one and you don’t love her.
- Manuela….. Again said mother.
- She is telling the true. He doesn’t love me. Said Sabine. He hasn’t been in my kindergarten or even school parties. Just only you and Manuela. It seems that I don’t have a father.
- Well, well my own daughter is against me. So if you don’t like living with us you can go to live with Manuela.
- She can go to live there because I am leaving.
- Finally. Said Simon, stood up and left.

Part 3
When he left few seconds there were silent. I felt so good that I have said everything to him what I wanted. Maybe now he will act different. Mother started to talk.
- Where are you leaving? To the other city? She asked.
- No. To the other country. I said.
- Where?
- To Spain. I said.
- Have I heard well? To Spain?
- Yes you heard well. There.
- You can’t go there. She said.
- Why not?
- You can’t and that is my last word.
- I will go and it doesn’t matter is your last or first word.
- Manuela I beg you.
- Why you are so scared? Is there something that I don’t know?
- No. She said.
- So, I can’t go there? I know that it was hard for you to forget everything, but I am going there.
- What are you going to do there? She asked.
- I am going to work there. I lied to her.
- What? Asked mother.
- As a dance teacher. I said.
- And how your university?
- There are a lot of universities. I said.
- Ok. Go, but I think…..
Mother stopped when Simon came back to the dinning room.
- You are still here. He said.
- As you can see. I said.
- When she won’t be here, tell me.
- I am going so you can stay. I said and stood up.
- Manuela don’t go. Said Sabine.
- When you are leaving? Asked mother.
- Tomorrow I will know exactly.
- See you tomorrow. Said Sabine and hugged me.
- Yeah of–course. Bye.
I took my stuff and left. It was dark outside. There weren’t a lot people in the street. All way to my apartment I was thinking why my mother didn’t want to let me go to Spain. I am sure that there is something that I don’t know. Suddenly my thoughts interrupted phone ringing.
- Yes?
- Hey, Manu! Where are you? Asked Chelsea.
- Near my apartment. I said.
- Maybe you wanna go to night club?
- Thanks for asking, but no.
- Why?
- I am very tired. I want to go sleep.
- But tomorrow you have a free day. You don’t have to go to university.
- Yeah I don’t, but tomorrow in the morning I am going to talk with Tom.
- Have you decided? Asked Chelsea.
- Yes.
- So, what is your decision?
- I am going to Spain.
- That’s good for you. She said.
- Have you planned something for tomorrow? I asked.
- Well after university I am free.
- Ok then. Tomorrow at 3 p.m. at the café near the city centre.
- Ok. Bye.
- Bye.
I came in and dropped all my stuff near doors. I was very tired to put everything into right places. I just went to my room, lie down on my bed and fall asleep.
