The date of Ans and Basty:

‘C’mon! It’s soo obvious you like her!’
Javi said to Basty. He blushed.
‘So what?’
‘Ask her out! Is it so difficult? You just send a text messege.. Easy.’
‘Maybe for you Ony.. You can have almost every girl you want..’
He sighed and took his mobile.
‘What shall I say?’
He looked desperate to his friends.
‘‘Hola chica! Do you wanna go out with me?’ is an option..’
Ony tried to help.
‘Why not: ‘Hey! Shall we go swimming?’ or something like that..’
‘Thanks.. Mikel, you gave me an idea.’
Basty took his mobile and began to text.
‘Hola amiga!
Shall we go out 2night?
Be sure that you have your bikini on.
X Basty’
He gave his mobile to Mikel.
‘Yep.. Good idea, what ever it may be..’
‘I’m gonna swim in the ocean and have dinner on the beach with her.’
‘Romantico..’
Ony said.
‘Ony, Mikel is the Romantico, you know that!’
Mikel made a face to Javi. Basty pressed ‘send’. In no time he had a messege back:
‘Sure.. How late?
X Ans’
‘Wow.. She’s fast..’
‘I know.. Mar told me.. She can text back in three minutes..’
Basty replied to Javi and thought about a time.
‘What about 6.30 pm?
I’ll pick you up.’
Again he pressed send. Soon he got one back.
‘Ok. See ya than!’
Basty putted his phone back in his pocket.


That night:

‘C’mon bro! You look fine!’
‘Are you sure Mar? I dunno..’
‘Yep.. 100% sure.’
He sighed. Maria had helped him with his clothes. A simple jeans and a white T-shirt. She also had helped him to plan it. She had cooked something for them. Basty had found a basket in the shed. He putted the food in it. Maria walked into the room with a blanket and candles.
‘A blanket?’
‘Yes.. Or do you wanna sit on the sand?’
She smiled and putted it in the basket. Maria looked at the clock. It was 17.55.
‘Over 5 minutes you have to leave.’
She took a lighter out of the drawer and putted it in the basket.
‘If I was you, I should take the car. I’m sure Ana won’t mind it.’
She continued.
‘When are you gonna call her mom? I mean.. You’re here for, what? Three months?’
‘Four to be precise.. I don’t know.. I’ll try.. Ok? Good.. Mom won’t mind if you use her car.’
She stuck her tongue out to him.
‘See? It’s not that difficult.’
He smiled.
‘Yeah,yeah.. Now, get your ass in that car! You need to go!’
She pushed him to the door and took the basket with her. He got into the car and Maria putted the basket down on the backseet.
‘How can I thank you?’
‘By not hurting my friend. Have fun together.’
She winked and closed the door. Basty took off to pick her up. Ans and Ony still lived in Valencia. He drove as fast as posible to Valencia. Ans was waiting for him. When she saw the car coming she began to smile. She wore a jeans short and her bikini top. Her blonde hair was tied up in a ponytale. She waved and walked to the car. Basty stopped and opened the door.
‘Hola chica!’
Ans got into the car and they took off to the beach.


After they had swom in the ocean, Basty took the basket and putted the blanket on the ground. With a towl around her, she sat down.
‘Maria had cooked for us. Hope it’s tasty!’
‘You can trust her.. She is a good chef.’
She smiled and took some of the lasagna. Basty smiled and also took some.

After a while the sun began to go down. Basty took the candles and lightened them.
‘You really thought about evrything..’
She smiled and looked at him.
‘I didn’t.. Maria did.. She helped me with this.’
He smiled abck and sat back on the blanket. Ans was a bit shivering. Basty gave her his T-shirt.
‘Here, before you get sick.’
Grateful she took it. They laid on the blanket, in silence, watching the sunset. Ans laid with her head on his chest and looked to the sky. The stars were playing hide and seek with the clouds and the moon. Basty caressed her hair.
‘You know.. I think I love you.. More than just a friend..’
‘Mmm.. So do I, I think.. I think I love you too Basty..’
Thay laid there for a while, but soon it was time to go home. Too soon for them.
‘Come.. I’ll bring you home..’
They got up and walked to the car, carrying all the stuff.

When they arrived at Ans’ house:

Basty got out first and opened the door for Ans. He walked with her to the front door. He pressed a soft kiss on her cheek. He wanted to walk away but Ans grabbed his hand. She pulled him back to her and kissed him on his lips.
‘Goodnight..’
And she got inside. Basty got a warm feeling inside him. He smiled.
‘Sueños suaves...’
And he walked back to the car. He waved to her and took off, back to Madrid.

Part 22

We walked to a bench and sat down.
‘And what now?’
I asked smilng at him.
‘Finish your thank you. You own me that..’
He smiled. I sat closer to him and looked into his eyes. Our faces came closer and I felt his warm breath against my skin. His soft lips touched mine and I kissed him back. I laid my arms around him and pulled him a bit closer to myself. He laid his arms around my waist. The kiss lasted for three minutes.
‘I have something to tell you Mar..’
His eyes became a bit sat.
‘My parents want me to follow the study Audio-visual Communication in Southampton.. After I finished school here, I’ll go to England for I think 4 years.. I’m sorry..’
‘Honey, it’s ok.. I think I’m going to Australia to study there. And see my sister again after four years..’
I smiled to him. He looked at me and began to smile too.
‘I’m glad that you take it that way.. I was really worried about your reaction at this..’
‘Ah.. I’m gonna leave too..’
Suddenly it became dark. I felt a drop on my arm, followed by a next one. I looked up, into the sky. Raindrops were falling on earth. It began to rain badly.
‘Let’s go and hide somewhere.’
Mikel got up and took my hand. We ran to the gardenhouse to hide there. My shirt was stuck to my body.
‘Why did I put a white shirt on today?’
I looked desperate at Mikel who was laughing.
‘You look perfect!’
‘You can look right through my shirt!’
I pulled my shirt off my body. Mikel was still laughing.
‘Will you stop laughing yeah?’
I barely could hold my laugh. Mikel walked to me and hugged me tight.
‘But you look perfect. It doesn’t matter what you wear..’
He kissed me again. He took his jacket off and gave it to me.
‘Here.. Before you get sick.’
Grateful I took it. It smelt nice. I smiled and closed my eyes.
‘Why are you smiling?’
‘Coz I have it warm again..’
I opened my eyes again. Mikel looked right into my eyes.
‘I’m really sorry that i have to leave after school..’
‘I know.. But I’ll be gone too, and I don’t know for how long.. Let’s enjoy of every thing we do together, ok?’
He nodded. I smiled and looked out of the window. The sky had a soft pink color, mixed with some orange.
‘Look, it stopped raining.’
Mikel looked also out of the window.
‘Shall we go back outside then?’
I nodded and opened the door. The smell of wet dirt came to me. The temperature had dropped a few degrees. Mikel was shivering a bit.
‘Here, take your jacket.. I really don’t wanna have you sick..’
‘No.. Keep it.. I’ll be fine.. Really..’
He smiled and rubbed with his hands over his arms to keep them warm.
‘Come with me.. I’ll make something warm to drink.’
I took his hand and we walked back home.

Ana was sitting in a chair
‘I see that you were outside in the rain?’
She smiled. I smiled back and pushed Mikel on the couch.
‘You really don’t have to-..’
‘No. You sit down and drink the tea I’m gonna make for you..’
He shut up and I walked into the kitchen. Quick I made some tea and walked back. I sat down next to him and gave him the mug tea. He was still shivering. I smiled and sat down closely to him, with my head against his shoulder. Ana smiled and got up from the chair.
‘I’m going to bed. Good night Maria.’
‘Good night mom..’
Ana smiled and walked upstairs. I yawned. It was allready 10 PM. Mikel looked at me and smiled. He didn’t shivered anymore.
‘HATSJU!’
Mikel looked at me.
‘Bless you.’
‘Thanks.. I think I have a cold..’
Mikel pulled me tight against himself. I smiled and drank my tea. I had it cold and shivered a bit.
‘Come, I’ll bring you to bed.. You have to sleep now.’
He got up from the couch and pulled me up.
‘Mikel.. You really don’t have to-..’
‘No.. You’re sick and I’ll take care of you..’
He took me upstairs and putted me in my bed. He wanted to take my clothes off.
‘Mikel, I may be sick, but I can take my clothes off by myself..’
I began to take my wet clothes off and Mikel putted the blanket over me. He sat down on the side of my bed and caressed my hair.
‘But how are you going home?’
‘Don’t worry.. I’ll be fine.. You are going to sleep now..’
He continued caressing my hair and soon I fell asleep. The last thing I heard was Mikel who whispered sweet things to me.
