Part 6

3 months later

I had had a boyfriend for two months. He was a sweet boy and I thought maybe he was the right one. But I was wrong. I found out that he was dating with 2 other girls. I was so depressed... and the guy wasn't even sorry about it! He didn't see anything wrong being with 3 girls. I said it was over and left him. I stayed in my room for the whole weekend. Well, on Sunday Raúl had visited our neighbour and Javi had wondered where I was and Raúl had told him. Then he came to see me. I was laying on my bed and staring at the ceiling, when I realised someone was standing at the door.
- Hola..., Javi said quietly.
- I'm down... I wanna be alone, I said and turned my back to him.
I heard steps behind me.
- I heard about it, he said and I felt he sat down on my bed.
- Well, he was a jerk. He's worth nothing... I shouldn't even cry for him, I said quietly.
- Yes... but still it hurts, I know..., he said and touched my shoulder.
- I'll never find a true love, I said and felt tears in my eyes.
- You will, don't worry, Javi convinced.
Then I felt he came next to me. I felt his chest against my back and he put his arm around me and just hold me close. I couldn't help my tears. I started crying.
- Shhh..., he whispered and caressed my hair.
- Everything's going to be just fine, he said and just was there for me.
I turned to him. He looked at me and I felt he was feeling bad too.
- I'm sorry I'm like this, I said then.
- It's ok. I understand you... and it hurts to see my friend so sad and hurt, he said and hugged me. I cried against his chest and he just hold me.
- Susana... my friend... I know what is the best treatment for this, he said after a while. I raised my head and looked at him with tears on my face.
- What?
- Having a biiiiig ice-cream with your friend, he smiled.
- Ice-cream? I asked surprised.
- Yea, like one biig ball of chocolate and another biig ball of... chocolate, he grinned.
- Chocolate? I smiled. Then I laughed.
I knew his obsession to chocolate.
He wiped away the tears on my cheek.
- I got you laughing already, he smiled.
- Yes, you did, thanks! I smiled.
I got up, so did he.
- So, shall we go then? he smiled.
- Well, why not. That bastard doesn't deserve more tears, I said.
- Indeed! he winked and then we left.

And so we went for an ice-cream. Javi told me to wait, he'd buy ice-creams for us. I was sitting on a bench in the park and waited for Javi. I was thinking about my ex-boyfriend. Suddenly I didn't feel so sad anymore. I realised I had had a feeling that something wasn't right in that relationship. That's why I wasn't into it deeply. And to have a friend like Javi... I smiled. He is such a dear friend to me and knows how to cheer me up. Then I saw him coming with an ice-cream. Huh? Only one?
- Hey, didn't you say you'll bring both of us? I was annoyed.
His ice-cream was 3 big balls of chocolate! I was staring at it suspiciously.
He laughed.

- This IS for both of us. One for you, one for me and one for us, he grinned.
- Huh? Do I have to share one with you? I made a face.
- Yees, he laughed, - You know, it will cheer you up, you'll see! he said and gave me the ice-cream.
- You can eat the first ball, he grinned.
- Erm... thanks! I smiled.
We sat on the bench and talked while I ate the chocolate ice-cream. I forgot to give it to Javi after the first ball, but he kept me on eye.
- Don't try! It's my turn now! he said suddenly and snatched the ice-cream from me.
I laughed.
- Sorryy, I totally forgot! I giggled.
- Greedy pig! he teased me, but laughed then.
When he had finished the second ball there was that third one left.
- So... this one we share, he grinned and licked the ice-cream.
- Your turn..., he said and let me have it.
I took a big bite of it. Javi didn't grin anymore.
- Hey! Not THAT much! he said and took the ice-cream for himself.
I laughed. Javi took a bit bigger bite of it than I did.
- Now who's the greedy pig? I giggled and stole the ice-cream, sprang up and run away.
- Susana! I heard him yelling behind me.
I heard he was running after me and because I laughed so much, he caught me soon.
- Susana! Stop it now! he laughed, - Let's finish it together, ok?
- Well, ok..., I smiled and licked the ice-cream.
Javi was faster. He pressed the ice-cream against my face.
- You! What the hell are you doing? I exclaimed.
Javi had the ice-cream and he almost dropped it while laughing at me.
I grabbed on his shirt and was going to clean my face on it, when Javi stopped me.
- No! Wait! It's still ice-cream! he grinned.
- So? I asked.
- I wanna eat it! he laughed.
- Whaaat? Nooo!! I laughed, but Javi's hold of my wrist was so strong that I couldn't escape.
- Let me lick it away! he grinned.
- You're out of your mind! I laughed and pushed him away.
I took steps backwards and then I bumped into a tree.
I had my back against the tree and Javi came close to me, so I couldn't go anywhere.
He was grinning and I was laughing and trying to stop him, but couldn't because of laughing.
- My little ice-cream face, he grinned and then he licked my cheek.
- No! Stoooop!! I laughed.
His tongue tickled me.
- I paid for the ice-cream, so I'm not going to waste it, he said and licked my other cheek, then my chin and finally my lips.
Suddenly we both got serious and looked at each others a bit scared.
What was it that just happened?
- Erm..., sorry, Javi said confused.
He didn't really know where to look at.
- Well, I said, - Don't know what that was, but I wanna dry my face you just drooled, I said and dried my face on his shirt.
Now Javi couldn't stop me and he looked at his shirt then and saw a bit chocolate on it.
- Susana..., he rolled his eyes.
- Don't forget you started it, I grinned.
- Oh, well, he sighed and then laughed, - I hope you'll clean this shirt.
- Sure, it's not a big deal, I winked, - Let's go!
