Part 13
‘I don’t think we know each other,’ Mikel tried to be calm, but blood inside his veins was pulsing fast. Mikel gulped. ‘Who are you?’ he asked.
‘I am Miguel. You stole MY Alex from me!’ Miguel yelled. The pistol moved in the air dangerously.
‘She is not a thing to be yours,’ Mikel said.
‘Well she was,’ Miguel grinned. Mikel felt grudge growing in him.
‘What have you done to her, you animal?!’ Mikel yelled.
‘Does it matter? You will never see her again… Never ever… She will always be mine!’ Miguel yelled fanatically. He pointed the gun right into Mikel’s heart.
‘No!’ Alexandra yelled from behind and she grabbed a hard rock. She hit Miguel with it fast and the guy dropped on ground. ‘Mikel, you must go! Run!’ Alexandra was yelling while Miguel was moaning on the ground.
‘Not without you! I love you!’ Mikel said desperately.
‘Mikel, don’t be silly! Go!’ Alex tried to push him.
‘People do weird things when they are in love,’ Mikel whispered suddenly and kissed Alexandra. A gunshot sounded through the night. The girl kissed him back for a second, but then her lips became tense. Mikel looked at her and Alexandra just looked back and she gasped.
‘If you are not mine, you will never be anyone else’s,’ Miguel said hardly and moaned. He stood up slowly and it was obvious his head was spinning. His face was all covered with blood. A rain started pouring down on Earth. Mikel was just looking into Alexandra’s face.
‘I…I love you too,’ she just whispered and fell on ground. There was blood on her back…
‘You killed her! You monster!’ Mikel yelled and fell tears on his face. He kneeled next to Alex and didn’t care about Miguel, who was standing with gun there.
‘Yes… She won’t be yours, I swore,’ Miguel said. ‘But I can’t live without her. Death will unite us,’ he added and put the top of the gun into his mouth. Another gunshot disturbed the night.

Mikel was holding Alexandra’s hand. It was in blood, but nobody cared. Doctors let Mikel to see her only to say goodbye…
‘Mikel…I…I…’ Alex was saying the words slowly.
‘Shh, don’t talk now,’ Mikel said through he knew it was the last thing they could do.
‘No, I…must. You were…the only…good thing…in my…life…. Mikel….’ Alex gasped and closed her eyes in pain.
‘Alex?’ Mikel said scared. She was going away, she was leaving, it was obvious.
‘I love you, Mikel,’ Alex said quietly and her hand in Mikel’s hand drooped.
‘Alexandra…’ Mikel only gasped. His tear fell on her face, right on her tear and those two connected tears ran down the girl’s cheek. ‘To live without means not to live…’ he whispered and painfully kneeled next to her bed.

Yes, I chose that song, cause it fitted so well...and I was listening to it while writing the end...was sad moment
