Part 3

She carefully touched his back with her hand.
- Does it hurt? – she said softly.
- Nah... a bit. – he said and pulled his shirt back down again.
- I’m sorry, Mikel. – she said guilty.
- There’s no need to be sorry for! It’s my own fault... I should’ve known this would come. And now my mother wants to punish you again. – he said and looked concerned at Rosa.
- Oh... I’m used to it already. – she said and looked at the ground.
- No! Don’t be like that! You must stand up for yourself! I’m gonna do that too! I’m sick of my parents... they don’t even love me. What kind of parent are you if you hit your own child with a whip?! I had enough... and I hope you too. – he said and looked at her.

She didn’t dare to look back at him and felt she blushed.

- I... I... I don’t know. – she muttered and played nervously with her dress.
- Look at me. – he said and turned her head to his – Do you want to get out of this place? – he said and looked straight into her eyes. She nodded. – Do you want to be treatened like you deserve to? Do you want a fair life? – he said and still looked at her. She nodded again. – Then come with me. – he said, took her hand and they headed to the door.

But it opened already and Lord Hennet stood there. He turned from red to blue when he saw Mikel and Rosa... hand in hand?!

- What is this supposed to mean?! – he said and pointed disgusting at the hand-in-hand.

They quickly released their hands.

- Father, I’m out! – Mikel said couraged.
- Out? What do you mean Out? – Lord Hennet said and his head turned really angry.
- Out... Out of this house, out of this shit I’m living in! And Rosa is coming with me! – he said and took her hand again. Rosa had a bad feeling about this.
- And am I going to let you do that? – he said coldly.
- I don’t care. We’re out, dot. – Mikel said but got more scared with every step his father came closer.

Lord Hennet took something from his belt. It was the whip.
Rosa’s eyes widened and before the Lord could hit Mikel she pushed him to the ground. Right after that he hit Rosa.

- No! – Mikel yelled and pushed his father out of the room. Tears were jumping in Rosa’s eyes but she stayed strong.

Lord Hennet stood up and made his hands to fists, ready to attack.

- Quick! – Rosa said, took Mikel’s hand and opened the window. – Go through here! – she said and pushed Mikel through it.
- What about you? – Mikel said worried.
- Don’t worry! I’ll be fine! – she said and saw Mikel crawling over the roof.

Lord Hennet came to her and tried to hit her but she took the chair and hit him to his head. He got unconscious and felt down. She was shaking from tip to toe. She hit the Lord! She quickly sneaked out the window and looked for Mikel. Then she heard a scream from her left and ran to the scream. She looked around.

- MIKEL! – she yelled and heard something from the edge of the roof. She looked and saw Mikel hanging. He looked pale.
- Take my hand! – Rosa yelled and reached for him. He tried to grab her hand but his other hand slipped a bit.
- I can’t! Try to find something what can catch me! – he yelled.
- I can never do that on time! Take my hand! – she said and reached again.

Their hands almost reached when suddenly Rosa felt a huge pain on her back. She yelled and looked what happened. Now Lady Hennet stood there grinning at her with the whip.
She hit her again. Rosa crawled over the roof but her leg slipped away and she fell from the roof. She screamed but landed on another roof. Thank God this is a mansion. She saw the Lady standing there and she tried to find a way down. Mikel still hang there but much strength he didn’t have anymore.

- Help me! – Mikel yelled desperately.

Rosa looked panicked around. There was no way she could reach Mikel now. Unless...

Part 4

Rosa jumped from one roof to another and finally she was on the lowest roof. It was low enough to jump off. She jumped and landed on the ground. Then she ran to the shed with hay. There was a wooden cart with hay on it as well. She took the front stocks and pulled the cart with her. She could catch Mikel with this. She ran as fast as she could but the cart was quite heavy. She saw how Mikel’s hands loosened strength every second.
With her last power she put the cart under Mikel and just when she released it, Mikel fell and yelled. He fell in the hay.
Rosa jumped on the cart and found Mikel. He sat right up and got some hay in his hair. It looked funny and Rosa giggled.

- We must run! – Mikel said, took Rosa’s hand and jumped out of the cart. They ran hand in hand from the estate. They ran on until they were out of town. They were both out of breath and stood still at a lake.

- That was scary! – Rosa said trying to catch air.
- It was! But it was exciting! – Mikel smiled and sat down.

Rosa sat down next to him. It began to be a little dark but cold it wasn’t. The temperature was there still and they enjoyed the pink sky.

Part 5

Rosa felt free after so many years. She smiled and closed her eyes. Shall she tell Mikel now? Was it wise?
She noticed he looked at her... it was more like staring.

- What? – she said.
- Nothing just... I never had the courage to say how... how beautiful you are. – he said and blushed.

Rosa’s heart beated faster. What? Did he said that? Did HE just said that? She thought she was dreaming. This couldn’t be true.

- Erhm... thanks. – she said confused.
- And I mean that more as a compliment. – he said still staring at her.
- Oh? – she said and didn’t know what to say. This was so weird!
- I mean... I always liked you but... since a long time I have deeper feelings for you. – he continued.

Rosa’s head was spinning around and around. This just wasn’t happening! She felt how Mikel turned her head to his. She looked into those deep, green eyes. She shivered. What was going to happen now?

- All I want to say is... Dear Rosa, I love you. – he said and after that he pressed his lips against hers. At first she didn’t kiss back because she was too surprised but when she felt his lips on hers and she realized what he just said to her, she kissed him back.
She swap her arms around his neck and pulled him closer. Finally she had him... and he had her. Not even his parents could stop them. They were far away from the mansion and they wouldn’t be found.
When they stopped kissing, they both catched breath.

- And I love you too. – she smiled, bowed forward again and kissed him. She couldn’t get enough of him. Mikel pushed her slowly to the grass and caressed her hips and fondled her hair.
All that mattered was their love for eachother and they showed to eachother in a passionate way at a romantic night.
Lord and Lady Hennet never found them.
Two years later Rosa and Mikel got married and bought a nice house, not too big, not too small. And they had a twin called Sarah and Luna, two girls. Rosa was happier than ever and, like in fairytales, they lived happily ever after.
