Part 4

A few days passed by so that I didn’t see Ony at all. I avoided the top deck as much as I could because I believed that Ony would be there quite often. He seemed to be that kind of man who had to do sports every day. And he really had quite big muscles and well trained body. Fortunately not too much, only that everybody could see that he cared about his body.

Even though the ship was small place so it was understandable that I would crash into Ony sooner or later. And that day came sooner I believed.

The middle deck was full of different kind of shops so, because I’m woman, I was browsing trough the shops and searching something nice for me. I was in the store where they sold perfumes and I was trying to find the best one of their huge selection. I met Ony there too, even I didn’t have any idea what HE was doing there.
- Do you want to know my opinion of that perfume? he asked when I smelled one perfume.
- No, actually I don’t, I said.
- Why not? Isn’t it important that men like that smell? Ony asked.
- I’m not buying this expensive perfume for men, I’m buying it for me, I explained like he would have been ignorant little child.
- But… Ony tried.
I had already moved forward.

- What are you doing today? he asked after a short silent moment.
-What people usually do here. Walking around and hanging with people and having fun, I answered.
- Are you going to have fun on your own? Ony asked next.
- Well, do you see someone with whom I could spend my time? I asked angrily.
- I don’t… But you can be here with someone even so that person just doesn’t be here now, Ony said.
- I don’t have company here, I said coolly.
- Do you want to spend this evening with me in that case? Ony asked.
I knew that I should say no to him, it wasn’t right to lie to Ony like this. But was weak, I couldn’t refuse those brown eyes.
- I think it’s okay, I answered finally.
- Good, Ony’s face lightened. – Shall we meet at half past six on the top deck?
- It’s fine with me, I answered.
- Great! But I have to continue my way now, see you then! Ony said and left away.

I sighed deeply. I really didn’t know where I had put my nose this time. It wasn’t wise to get to know people with wrong identity. It would bring only problems. But I didn’t have any good reason to say no to Ony. Refusing would have only caused more questions to me. I decide to spend this evening with Ony, only because I wanted to be polite. Otherwise he could find his company somewhere else. I didn’t want to admit even myself that I had found a man who I was really interested in.

Ony, Ony, Ony.. You don't know where you get yourself into..

Part 5

I met Ony just like we agreed, on the top deck. He wanted to offer me a dinner in one of the ship’s most expensive restaurants. I tried to say that I could pay my own meal but Ony didn’t listen. So, only thing I could do was that I followed him to the restaurant and let him to pay the expensive bill after the dinner. I couldn’t understand why Ony wanted to eat a dinner with woman he didn’t know at all. Luckily he didn’t ask any personal details about me. We were talking about everything else but not us. Actually we had quite nice evening together. After the dinner we walked around the ship and in the end Ony escorted me to my cabin, like a true gentleman.

I could easily spend more time with him if he didn’t ask anything about my personal life. Then I would have to cut it off. Finally I made a decision. If Ony would start to ask too personal questions I wouldn’t meet him anymore. But if he could stay in neutral area while talking, I could spend more time with him. Besides, when we would arrive to Tenerife I would vanish under the ground. There wouldn’t be anymore any person who would have my name.

Before I went to sleep I looked if the microphone was still there. I noticed that there was a follow-up device on the wire which took all the leaving signals and would find out where the signals would go. In the headquarters they would surely check the place and the people who put the microphones into the cabins.

I slept my night calmly. I was relieved that they would follow the microphone now. I didn’t want to stress about Ony. I would see where this situation would end up. Then I would think how I was going to act.

Few days passed by so I didn’t see Ony at all. Nor I would have seen that person who I was trying to find.

I was spending a sport day. I had been in gym and now I was taking a refreshing moment in pool. I was swimming slowly from the other head to the other head of the pool. Suddenly I noticed somebody swimming next to me.
- Let’s take a quiz, who is first one there, Ony pointed the other head of the pool.
- Okay, let’s do it! I yelled and started to swim faster.
In the end Ony was faster than me. I lost few meters to him. But it was clear that I couldn’t have won him. His muscles were much bigger than mine, so I didn’t have any possibilities to win him. He was much stronger than me.

But Ony looked at me long.
- You’re pretty good swimmer. You’re one of the rare people who have been so close to me, he confessed.
- Well, I have swum a lot before and done other sports too, I confessed.
The truth was that I had to be in good condition if I wanted to be a police. And when I left from police I had taken care of my body.

I climbed away from the swimming pool. I didn’t want to show my sport skills to Ony anymore. I thought I could go to my cabin and change my swim suit to my bikinis and sunbathe a bit then. But Ony didn’t let me do that.
- Listen, we have a volleyball team and we need still one more player. Would you like to come with us? Ony asked.
- When are you going to start playing? I asked.
- Soon. Or right away when missing player has found, Ony answered.
- Alright. But I have to change my clothes, I answered.
- Good! See you, let’s see after a half hour at the field, Ony smiled.

Part 6

I changed my bikinis fast and put short shorts and a top also on. I tied my hair to a ponytail so it wouldn’t be in front of my eyes all the time. It would be clever to go swim again after the game. The weather was so hot this time of the day.

All people were already at the field when I went there. I realized that Ony didn’t know any of them, just like I didn’t. I wondered if Ony was travelling here alone or where he had left his friend. I didn’t dare to ask, because it would cause same questions to me also.

We divided the teams and so surprisingly I was at the same team with Ony. I hadn’t played volleyball so long time but slowly I started to remember all the rules. Our team had a few points more than the other team. We had the final ball. If we would make the point now, we would win. But if we wouldn’t get the point, the game would continue. I was at the left side just in front of the net. Ony was in the middle of me and some man. I got the ball from the other team and I tried to pass it to Ony. It went too long so the man who was next to Ony passed the ball to Ony. He should get the ball over the net now.

I don’t know what happened, probably the ball came too fast to Ony. Even so, Ony couldn’t get the ball over the net but it came badly straight to Ony’s fingers.
- Ouch! Ony yelled.
He was shaking his other hand. I rushed to see how he was.
-The ball came straight to my fingers, Ony complained painful look on his face.
- Which finger hurt most? I asked caringly.
- Ring finger and the little finger also, he answered.
- Let me look at them, I asked and Ony gave his left hand to me.
I pushed the fingers and tried to feel if there were any bones broken. Ony’s face looked neutral even I guessed that my touching was hurting a lot even I tried to be careful.
- I don’t think any bones are broken. I think only good bandage will be enough to back up the fingers, I said finally.

One of the players showed us where the fist-aid cabinet was. I walked there with Ony and he sat down on the chair. I took a bandage there and made a tight packet which backed up the fingers and wrist too.

Man, who had passed the ball to Ony asked if everything was okay and said we would play the game until the end when Ony would be okay.
- Alright. I think you’ll manage with that, I said and closed the bandage well.
Ony moved his wrist and fingers.
- Well, it’s tight. Nobody has ever given me as good first-aid than you did. Thanks a lot, Ony said.
- It’s okay, I smiled. – It’s just because of a few first-aid courses, I revealed.
- You have had so many hobbies, Ony thought.
- Well… When I was young I tried all kind of hobbies, I explained.

Lies, lies, lies. I haven’t needed to lie anything big yet, except my name. But I was sure that soon I would need my lies again. We would be in the ship still over a week. So everything could still happen.

That girl serious should stop.. Notthat she can, but still
