"Wonderland" -Part 20 -Final part

Part 12

Slowly our days set up to their own places. I still continued cleaning María’s house. And she had recommended me to few friends of her. So now I had five middle-aged or older women whose house I cleaned. Many times when I was at María’s house, I had Sofía with me. We talked a lot about different things with María. And I heard what here had happened when I had been away.

And we started to plan our wedding slowly with Javi. Christmas was coming soon, in two weeks, so we decided to start the planning in January in full power. And also Sofía started slowly speak some funny words. So then I started immediately to speak my native language to her. I wanted that she could speak also with my relatives. And at the same time I forced Javi to learn it too. At first he wasn’t so excited about it, but now he wants to learn it more and more all the time.

D’Nash had those concerts and performings often. I get to know more Javi’s friends and even got some good friends of them. And of course those parks were really good place to see other mums and share all kind of tips etc.

And if our life sums up, we had really lovely life. The wedding coming, we both had a job, a flat where to live and of course our wonderful child. But sometimes I thought that is this happy life continuing all the time? Because last time happened something, so why wouldn’t happen now? But I closed those thoughts deep in my mind and just enjoyed my great life.

Christmas was here totally different than my home country. But it was cool, in its own way. And New Year came really fast. And then, it was time to start planning our wedding. We both listed all relatives and friends whose we wanted to invite there from our own side. And that guest list grew quite huge. In total there were about two hundred guests. So, Javi was having his huge wedding, as he wanted. And I couldn’t complain because we had made a deal. All that planning, the church, dinner, drinks, dresses, decorates and etc. I would have been totally lost with all of this unless my new friend Sara, hadn’t helped me with it. We had met at once at the park. Sara had also a daughter, almost the same age as Sofía.

And finally it was spring. Wedding day had decided, clothes had chosen, and now we just had to wait that magical day, when we could finally be as a husband and wife.
And Sofía’s birthday came and went. And all that time Sofía had learnt new funny words and Javi spoke quite fluently my native language.

Awesome part. Are they already married? Whats gonna happen?

Part 13

-Four years later-

Our life is nowadays happy and normal. Or as normal as it can be if your husband is in popular band… But of course we had fights and we argued like other people. But we’ve learnt something from the past. You’ve to talk to other person. So, we solved out our problems with talking.
And Sofía is nowadays in kindergarten. And I was very proud of her because she could speak my native language as fluent as Spanish. And also Javi had learnt it quite well.
I still cleaned houses and I had got more customers. And Javi was still in D’Nash. They had concerts and performings and they had made few new CD’s as well.

If I should describe my life now in one word, it would be happy I think. But if it would have been asked littler later, I should have chosen totally different word…

I had long work week behind, and I had decided to spend my free day by shopping. I had called to Sara and she promised to go shopping with me. We had a lot of fun. And I was really happy that I had got as great friend here as Sara was. Of course I hadn’t forgotten my old friends but it was little difficult to keep contact on them.

In the afternoon I called to Javi that he could take us from the city. I told where we were and he promised to come there as soon as possible. But we met Sara´s husband there and Sara left already with him. So I was alone, waiting to Javi. And soon I noticed our car and Javi stopped on the other side of the road. I searched the crosswalk and found it and waited that the light would turn into green. I saw that Javi had stepped out of the car and I waved to him that I was coming. He noticed me and waved back. Finally the light changed and I looked that any cars weren’t coming. And I was almost on the other side of the road, when some car drove round the corner with full speed and crushed straight to me. I didn’t realize anything else that I was flying trough the air and landed few metres away from the crosswalk. Then everything went black.

Are you kidding me? I knew you will do to her something bad, but a car accident? Thats too much for me. Cant she be finally happy without any treats?

Part 14

“How badly…?”
“I can’t be sure but…”

I heard some words of conversation. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Javi talking with a man who had white coat. Then I realized that I must be in the hospital. Then Javi noticed that I had woken up.
“Hey. You wake up.” he said and came to sit next to me.
Doctor left us alone for a while.
“What happened?” I asked quiet. “I don’t remember much.
“Some car crushed you and you hit your head on the road.” he explained.
“So, that’s why I had this huge headache. But did you catch the driver?” I asked.
“Yes. He was drunk, so you can be sure that he is going to pay everything.” Javi said angry.
“But where’s Sofía?” I asked then. I didn’t want to think that driver now.
“She’s at home with Basty. But I can bring her here later, if you want.” he said.
“That would be great. When I can go back home?” I asked.
“I don’t know.” Javi said.
And then doctor came in.
“I want to explain some things both of you.” he said and looked both of us.
“First of all, you’ve hit you head quite badly. But if there won’t be any complications, there shouldn’t be any problems.” doctor said and looked at me.
“We must keep you here at least one week, because we want follow that there won’t come any complications.” he continued.
“A whole week?” I said surprised. “But I have a work…” I tried.
“That’s not important now. I want that you get better as soon as possible.” Javi said.
“That’s good attitude and now you should rest as much as possible.” doctor said.
“And I have to go but I come here later.” Javi said and kissed me to forehead.
“I’ll be right back.” he whispered.

I tried to sleep but that headache was bad. I called nurse to bring some medicines for me.
But even those didn’t help at all. Finally I was so tired that I just fell asleep while that ache was holding my head.

When I woke up, I saw first Javi sitting next to me. And then Sofía jumped somewhere on my bed.
“Mum! You have woken up!” she yelled.
“Sshhh, Sofía.” Javi said. “Mum has headache. So speak little quietly.”
“I don’t mind.” I smiled and looked at her tiredly.
“So, what you have done today with Basty?” I asked her.
And then I got really detailed explanation of everything what she had done today.

Part 15

A week passed by very slowly. I just lied on my bed and couldn’t do anything. Of course Javi and Sofía visited every day, but it wasn’t the same than be at home.
When the week was over I asked doctors to let me home. I didn’t have that annoying headache anymore and I felt pretty good. But they wanted to do some more test and keep me there still few days. They said that they wanted to be sure that my brain really was okay after hitting it to the road. And I had to admit that, I didn’t have any other choice than stay there.

Few days later we were waiting the results with Javi. If they were okay I could leave home. If they weren’t, well I didn’t want to think about it.
When the doctors came in I prayed that everything would be okay. But I couldn’t see any responses of their face.
“We have now your tests results here.” doctor said.
“Are they okay? Can I go home now?” I asked curious.
“I’m afraid that you can’t go home for a while.” he said.
“Why? What’s happened?” Javi asked worried.
I just sat on my bed. I had known deep in my mind that something like this would happen. My life had been too happy and perfect so long.
“Hitting your head has damaged your brain some way. We don’t know yet how badly, but you must stay here, until we know more about that.” doctor explained.
I had started cry. I couldn’t believe that this was happening to me. I had a husband and a child. A life what to live. Not lying here, in hospital and waiting what is happening to me.
Javi hugged me tight and whispered kind words to me. But it didn’t help much. Any kind words couldn’t fix this situation. I just wanted to be alone and think all of this. Doctors had left and we were together with Javi.
“I can’t believe this.” I whispered.
“Me either. When everything seemed to be alright.” Javi said.
“I just wish that doctors would know soon what is wrong with me. I don’t want to live in this suspense.” I said and dried my eyes.
“How we’re going to tell this to Sofía?” Javi asked worried.
“I really don’t know. Truth would be the best thing. If you take her tomorrow here, so we can talk to her about this.” I suggested.
“Okay. But I have to go know.” he said. “I love you.” he said and kissed me.
“I love you too.” I replied.

I couldn’t sleep that night at all. I just thought how I’m going to tell this to Sofía. And what’ll happen if I’m really sick… Thoughts were rounding and rounding in my mind. And finally, I slowly fell asleep.

OMG. OMG. OMFG. Dont kill her. Please.
