It was getting late and I heard Mikel going to the bedroom. I couldn’t go to sleep for some reason. After all those words I was feeling so guilty that being with him in one bed felt like a crime againts love.
I was lying on a sofa and staring at the ceiling. After few moments tiredness and the problems of the day broke me and I closed my eyes. I was falling and falling deep into my dreams, running after some man, hearing a child crying in far… Then I saw myself standing in front of a man, blonde and strangely familiar guy, who was smiling to me. I wanted to ask who he is, but at the same time I knew him very well. He took my hand and I wished to stay in that dream forever…
Somebody really took my hand. I opened my eyes hardly and in my heart there was a silly hope to see that man from my dreams…
‘What are you doing here?’ Mikel asked me quietly. His voice was very gentle and begging to forgive. I couldn’t say if I felt relief that he was there or anger that it wasn’t the man from my dreams…
‘Sleeping, what else?’ I said. I was happy that my voice sounded rather hurt than angry.
Mikel was just kneeling next to the sofa and holding my hands. Then he put my fingers to his lips and looked at me.
‘I am sorry,’ he whispered and kissed my fingers one by one. A sweet wave ran through my heart and body. I took a deep sigh and was about to talk, but Mikel stopped me. ‘Listen, I am very sorry. It was low of me to tell you all those things… Please, forgive me,’ he whispered.
‘I am not sure I can,’ I finally said. ‘I don’t know what you exactly meant… Maybe the guilt I am feeling since that argue means it was my fault? I don’t know… I feel so lost. I wanted a new life, but in each step I face my previous one,’ I said slowly.
‘You must forgive me… I couldn’t live without you… Not now that you are with me,’ Mikel whispered and pressed my hand to his cheek.
‘Mikel, I will always be with you… I love you. Is it so hard to understand?’ I asked. I felt a tear on my cheek. Mikel was just looking at me and seemed to be a little bit scared.
‘I love you,’ Mikel then said and kissed my fingers. I tried to smile, but instead I just yawned. I was so dead tired… ‘Oh God, you must go to sleep! Soon we will get a lot of sleepless nights, so we should enjoy this privilege while we can,’ he smiled and caressed my belly.

It were the last days of pregnancy… Months passed, I didn’t remember anything new, I kept seeing weird dreams and after two weeks I saw the weird “juice man” once again. He was looking at me and I felt quite worried… But I had Mikel to protect me. To comfort me. To love me. And we have never argued after that last time ever again… Once I called him Ony, whatever that was supposed to mean, but he just gulped and asked me what did I say. When I said that I didn’t know, he calmed down a bit and hugged me as if he wanted to be sure I was still there… I whispered to him that I was sorry and told him I loved him more than life (which was true) and it made him believe I sincerely didn’t know why or what I said to him.
Yet deep inside I was curious… Who was that Ony-person?
