Part 3

Few days passed by and I didn’t heard anything of those two guys. And I thought that maybe they had totally forgotten me. I had finally gone trough all papers and I had to admit that D’Nash were really good. But they were so famous already. But we would have a meeting about our new contracts with other employees. So I should talk about that band there.

I was still going trough some papers when my secretary called me and told that some man wanted to see me. I thought that it was Javi. And I was so good mood so I told her to let him in. I didn’t lift my look of papers when he came in.
- So, what do you want this time? I asked.
- I just want to talk with you, voice said.
I got really huge shock. I looked at him scary. He wasn’t Javi. He wasn’t Javi at all. How he had found me here?
- What are you doing here? I asked quietly.
- You didn’t answer to my messages. And I really want to talk with you, he replied.
- Well… I’ve been quite busy nowadays, I explained.
- But would you have time to go to lunch with me? Daniel asked.
- Uhm… I think I can’t get rid of you, if I don’t answer yes, I replied.
- No, you can’t, he smiled.
- Is tomorrow okay? he asked then.
- Okay. Tomorrow sounds good. I’ll be ready at 1 pm, I said.
- Great. See you then, he said and kissed my hand.
And I blushed. He just smiled and left away. That smile. It was the first thing which I noticed of that man when we met first time. And he was so polite and he showed that he appreciate women. What you can’t say about somebody else, I thought and Javi popped in my mind. But hey, why the hell I’m thinking him now?

Then my secretary called again. Some other man wanted to see me. And this time it was Javi.
- So, have our things gone forward? he asked.
- Actually I’ve read your papers and listened to some of your songs, I replied.
- So, when we can sign the contract? he asked self-loving.
- Hey, hey, not so fast. We haven’t decided anything yet. We’ve the meeting tomorrow and I’ll call after that if we take you in, I explained.

Then I heard a knock on the door.
- Come in, I said.
My secretary stepped in.
- The messenger boy brought these, she said and gave 5 red roses to me.
I took the card of them. “Don’t forget tomorrow.” it said. Aaw. Daniel was really gentleman.
- Aaah. Somebody have got an admirer, Javi teased.
- No. These are just from one friend, I said.
- Don’t lie. Any friend doesn’t send red roses to a friend. You’ve got an admirer, believe me, he said and winked.
Would it be true what Javi had said? That Daniel still loved me.
- I think I’ll leave you now. You’re dreaming all the time. And that’s why I can’t get any word of you. And that’s strange, Javi said.
- But wait. You’re thinking about that man, he said and started to smile.
And suddenly he crabbed the card of my hands.
- “Don’t forget tomorrow.” Aaw, how sweet, Javi teased me.
- Hey, give it back to me, I yelled.
- So, somebody might be fallen in love. What are you doing tomorrow? he teased me.
- We’re just friends who have decided to eat lunch together, I said angrily to him.
- How sweet, Javi teased me once more and went away.

“Someday I’ll hit that man.” I thought.
He is so annoying and he thinks he’s a good friend of mine even we’ve talked about three times only. But then I forget him when I looked at the roses. If he still loves me why he came until now? I realized that we had a lot what to talk about. And maybe we could make a fresh start. But before that I really wanted to know why he left.

Part 4

Next day we had that meeting about our contracts. When I told about D’Nash Annelien was really excited.
- I really want them here, she said gladly.
- But I don’t understand why? They’re famous already, so where they need our services? I asked.
- But don’t you realize? If we’ve famous band here, we become even more famous at the same time. We get a good advertising of it, she explained.
- But I just think it isn’t wise, I still tried.
- What? Do you’ve something against them? Annelien asked.
- Well, not all of them. Just one guy who won’t let me alone at all, I sighed.
- Hey, that’s just one guy. You can handle him, right? she said.
- Yes…I think, I said finally.
- So, we’re going to take them here, she still asked.
- Yes we’re, if somebody else hasn’t anything against them, I said.
Nobody said anything. And so D’Nash joined our company. I just didn’t know what I was going trough after this.

I called that number which Javi had given. Soon a voice answered. I introduced myself.
- Oh, Javi told us that you’ll call today. And btw, I’m Ony, he said.
- Oh, right. Well I would like to meet all of you. So, what about a lunch tomorrow? I asked.
- That sounds good. When and where? Ony asked.
We agreed to meet one restaurant near here. After that phone call I was little surprised because I’ve thought that the other members would be as annoying as Javi was. But at least one of them seemed to be normal. But my thoughts interrupted by my secretary who told that Daniel had arrived.

It was little weird to sit in front of him at the restaurant again. It had been so long time ago. But he hadn’t changed at all. The same smile and the same laugh. And that same habit to scratch his neck when he was nervous. Everything was familiar. But somehow he had changed. I could see sadness in his eyes. And that hadn’t been there before. But I let him to start himself because he had wanted me here. So he could start. Because I knew that we both wanted to solve our problems.

At first we talked about what we had done since we divorced. It seemed that he wanted to only talk about nice and save things. Finally I had to ask:
- We’ve talked only our everyday things but I want to ask you why you left me then?
His face turned sad when I mentioned his leaving.
- I wouldn’t have wanted to talk about that yet, he answered.
- Well, why you wanted me here if you weren’t ready to talk? I asked little confused.
- I just wanted to see you and see how you are, he replied.
- Because I want you back. But I wasn’t sure did you have a boyfriend, so I decided to come here to see how your things are, he continued.
- You…want…me back, I repeated slowly.
I really hadn’t expected this.
- When I was living without you I realized that I really need you, Daniel said.
- I really don’t know what to think about this, I said confused.
- You don’t need to think anything yet. Just promise that we’ll see again, he said.
- Well, I don’t know. Maybe, I said.
- Would a lunch be good idea tomorrow? he asked.
- NO! I shouted. – Not tomorrow, I said more quietly.
- I’ll have a business lunch tomorrow. But call me, I said.
- Okay, I’ll do that, he said.
- But I’ll have to go now. Bye, I said and rushed out of the restaurant.
I had panicked, I confess that.

I went back to work but I couldn’t concentrate anything. That what Daniel had said rounded in my head all the time. That he wanted me back. Would it be wise after all this? We both had changed during these months. Maybe I should just date with him for a while and then decided what to do. Yes. That I was going to do. But he hasn’t even told me why he left me. Well, I’ll ask that him next time.
