Six years later
‘Mony,’ I sighed and shook my head. ‘A third vase today,’ I said.
‘Sorry… Pa promised to teach me how to play better,’ Mony said quietly and looked at baseball bat. It was lying on the floor next to a broken vase.
‘I hope he will… Or else we will have to hide all breakable things,’ I smiled and kissed her cheek. ‘Now go play with Boney, ok? The weather is just amazing today,’ I added.
‘Ok ma…’ Mony said and was about to go out the room, but she suddenly turned around and looked at me with her greenish eyes. ‘Ma… Can I ask?’ she said quietly.
‘Sure, dear, what is it?’ I asked and sat on the sofa. She came nearer and looked straight into my eyes…
‘Why does mister Antonio look so weird at me sometimes?’ she said after few moments of silence.
‘Because he loves you like a real father,’ I smiled. ‘Don’t fear him, Monica. You can trust them both – Antonio and Miguel. And so can Boney do…’ I said and caressed her cheek.
‘Boney says her father is cooler,’ Mony pouted.
‘They both are very cool, honey. Never doubt that,’ I laughed.
‘No, I really love pa… But mister Antonio is so good to me too… I feel like I have two fathers… It’s so weird, because everybody else has one father at school,’ she said.
‘Well, then you should be feeling very special young lady. Like in a fairytale,’ I smiled. ‘Now go to play until it doesn’t rain,’ I said and pecked her cheek again. ‘And take care of Boney, she is too young for real baseball, deal?’ I laughed and stood up. Mony smiled.
‘Yes, mom,’ she said and went to the door again. ‘And if pa or mister Antonio comes, can they come to play with us?’
‘Of course… Of course they will come,’ I said.
When Mony left the room, I sat down again. Years passed… And years were to come… And we all went on with our lives. Just two little girls were our connection, which turned our love into a friendship with each passing day. The grudge and anger was fading away, but we all three were hurt too much in the past… But we tried to stay positive and see only the good things in each other and to remember only good events. We three wanted to make a better fairytale to our children.
Deep inside I still loved them both… And every day I saw a piece of them in Mony’s greenish eyes, which were like Mikel’s and in Boney’s smile, which was just like Ony’s…
Years passed… And years were to come… Who knows what the next day might bring us…

THE END of "trilogy"

Great part. She seems to be happy because of her kids, but sad coz of her love.

Coz it wasn't sad but on the other hand it wasn't totally happy...
